I am reaching out about my mother-in-law, Mrs. Ameeta Vichare, aged 65, who flew from Mumbai to London on June 21st via AI131. Despite a month-long search, we have been unable to locate her lost cabin bag. Heathrow Airport indicated that Air India typically holds any forgotten luggage near the baggage claim area. Upon arrival at LHR Terminal 2 on June 21st at approximately 18:45, my mother-in-law endured a two-hour immigration queue. Exhausted, she found all bags placed outside the belt at baggage reclaim. Focused on retrieving her two checked bags, she inadvertently left her cabin suitcase by the belt. Upon returning home, we discovered the bag was missing. Despite numerous calls, emails, and forms submitted, we have not had any success in locating the bag. The contents of the red cabin suitcase include black flat slippers, a blue saree, a grey saree with a black blouse, kurtis, tops, white Indian dress set, beige trousers, nightwear, and a TATA AIG travel insurance policy ([redacted]) under Ameeta Vichare's name from Mumbai to London. Urgently seeking assistance in locating the bag as Heathrow Airport directed us to contact Air India, as untagged bags are typically handed over to the airlines on-site.

Subject: Concerns Regarding Missing iPad Dear Lost & Found Team of Delhi, I am reaching out to address the issue of my lost iPad during my recent trip from Vienna to Delhi on Flight AI154 on July 20, [redacted]. My name is Magdalena Wutsch, and I am disappointed with the conflicting information provided regarding my missing device. Initially, I was assured that my iPad would be sent to Sydney, Australia, but there seems to have been a change due to customs regulations. I am seeking clarification on this sudden shift and would appreciate an explanation regarding the customs procedures that are now affecting my iPad's return. I am also concerned about the condition of my device and would like assurance that it has been handled properly during its time with the lost and found department. While I understand the challenges of dealing with customs, I had hoped for more assistance in navigating this process. I want to acknowledge your team's efforts in locating my iPad and kindly ask for timely and competent support in resolving this situation. I await your response to shed light on these matters and hope for a swift resolution. Sincerely, Magdalena Wutsch

After flying from Amsterdam to Delhi and then to Singapore, our baggage went missing during transit in Singapore. Air India claims they have no information about its location, causing distress as the items hold sentimental value. Communication is now solely through Singapore, but only emails are exchanged. Despite multiple calls over 5 days, they keep asking the same questions about electronic devices. I wish to speak directly with the person in Delhi mentioned in the emails. Discussing with the Singapore staff seems to reset progress each day. Direct communication is vital to resolve this quickly and retrieve our belongings promptly.

Hello, I made a booking through Travelgenio in October [redacted] for a round trip from Paris to Delhi with Air India. The reference number is LUGK7G. The departure date is August 5th, and the return is on August 25th. Unfortunately, due to medical reasons, I am unable to travel and need to cancel my trip. I have been unsuccessful in trying to contact Travelgenio via phone or internet as their website is no longer available. I have also emailed them with no response. Since my flight is scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, I am concerned that my cancellation won't be processed in time. I am unsure how to proceed with cancelling the flights through Air India since I booked through Travelgenio and not directly with the airline. Any guidance on how to inform Air India about my cancellation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your urgent assistance. Christine W.

Hello, I flew from SFO to Mumbai on August 5th. Originally, the flight was scheduled to depart at 9 pm. However, there was a schedule change, and I received a notification that the new departure time was 11:25 pm. Prior to this change, I had paid around $70 to reserve a seat with extra legroom, which did not carry over to the new flight schedule. Instead, I was assigned a regular seat at the back. I am seeking a refund for the initial amount I paid for the seat upgrade. Thank you.

Dear Sir, I am an 83-year-old senior citizen who frequently travels with Air India. I am currently in the USA and am looking to purchase return tickets from Chicago to Delhi for my wife, who is 78 years old, and myself in business class. When trying to buy the tickets online, the mode of payment is shown in dollars, but I wish to pay in Indian Rupees since I do not have a bank account in the USA, only in India. Please advise me on how I can buy the tickets in Indian Rupees. Additionally, I would like guidance on how to avail the senior citizen concession and Promo Number. Thank you. Pramod K. Trivedi

I need help getting a copy of the receipt from Air India for a ticket purchased five years ago. The ticket was for a passenger named Afroz Surti who traveled from Ahmedabad, India to New York on Flight [redacted] in February [redacted]. Unfortunately, I don't remember which credit card I used for the purchase. I sent the ticket to the passenger before their trip, but they disappeared without returning the money. I would appreciate any assistance in obtaining a duplicate receipt for this transaction.

I recently took Airindia flight AI0809 and was seated at 13A. Unfortunately, during our journey, the airhostess missed giving the meal box to the entire row, including me. We mistakenly thought it wasn't provided to us, not realizing it was meant to be complimentary. I found this experience disappointing and felt the service lacked hospitality. It seemed as if the staff may have intentionally skipped serving the meal boxes to save on costs.

I am inquiring about the status of my delayed baggage with reference number DELAI66415 in Vadodara. I need to confirm its location to arrange for collection tomorrow. The bag belongs to my 84-year-old mother, Veena G., and we need to avoid a wasted trip if it is not in Baroda. It is Air India's responsibility to deliver the bag to the home address. I have been attempting to reach Air India all day. If the baggage is in Baroda, I am willing to travel by road for 3 hours to pick it up. Thank you in advance for your assistance. Amita S.

I have not received my bag since October 1st, and I am unable to get a response from the airline. This situation has been escalated to higher authorities due to the lack of assistance provided so far. My son's bag was supposed to accompany him from Mumbai to Bangalore on an Air India flight, but it got held back at Mumbai Airport T2 for an issue that was resolved. However, despite being assured that the bag would be sent, it hasn't reached him in Bangalore yet. The lack of communication and assistance from the Mumbai team has caused significant stress for the past three days. The bag contains essential items like clothes, important documents, and perishable food, as well as house keys. Attempts to contact the Mumbai team have been unsuccessful, and I urge the airline to address this issue promptly. I have filed complaints through the customer portal and provided the necessary details, including the file reference, passenger name, flight details, and baggage description.

I arrived at the Air India flight AI [redacted] from BOM at 5:10 pm to find out that boarding was at gate 47A. However, the staff members at the Air India counter were unresponsive, directing me from one counter to another. By the time I reached the last counter at around 5:39 pm, the person in charge stated that my boarding time had passed, and my ticket entry was closed. Feeling frustrated and without any solution, I had no choice but to leave the airport. This experience has cost me both time and money. I would appreciate it if this issue could be addressed.

Hello, I recently booked a flight from BOM to KWI with (my trip). After booking, I received an email stating that I need to book a seat separately. The email from My Trip provided a Seating Refund Order referencing my issue with the seat booking for my flight. They instructed me to contact Air India directly with a specific reference number and book the seat with the airline. They assured me of a refund of 18.00 EUR for the initial seating purchase, which will be reimbursed to my original payment method. Due to the current circumstances, they mentioned that the refund process might take longer than usual. I will await an email notification confirming the refund processing. Best regards, Bastian R. I made a flight reservation with Air India for four people to travel on November 30, [redacted]. I recently received the tickets and noticed that one passenger's surname is incorrect. During booking, I provided the travel agent with photos via WhatsApp to prevent errors. When I informed the travel agent about the mistake, they mentioned that new tickets would need to be purchased. I only need to correct the surname, where a middle name was mistakenly placed. This is important, as we frequently fly with Air India. Please assist me with this matter promptly. Passenger Names: Mr. A. Radia & Mrs. R. Radia Booking Reference: FEG90E0K Ticket Number: [redacted][redacted] We booked our multi-city club class return tickets through The Flight Guru, an ABTA agent. Our flights were as follows: - LHR-BOM on AI [redacted] for 21st December [redacted] - BOM-DEL on AI677 for 3rd January [redacted] - DEL-LHR on AI [redacted] for 15th January [redacted] On 13th January [redacted], we confirmed our seats online and were given row number 9 seats in Club class. Upon check-in at Delhi airport on the 15th, we were unexpectedly asked to pay an additional amount of Rupees 70,[redacted] to board our flight, despite already having paid £[redacted].00 for our tickets. We contested this demand, resulting in being downgraded to Premier Economy. This change was distressing, especially considering my upcoming knee operation. The airline staff assured us compensation for this inconvenience, yet we have not received any communication regarding this matter, as promised. We seek guidance on how to proceed and a resolution from Air India regarding the unexpected charges and downgrade.
