I purchased a new car recently. When I brought my old car in for service due to the check engine light, I saw a new car I'm interested in buying. The dealer deducted $[redacted] from my trade-in value as they claimed my car needed that amount of work. However, the service department just informed me that the issue can be fixed for $[redacted]. I've made a small deposit on the new car. Is it possible for me to request the dealer to adjust my trade-in value accordingly?

Acura has been unresponsive to my concerns regarding the discomfort in the front seats of my car. When I reported feeling like I was sitting on a bar and experiencing severe leg pain, customer service advised me to visit a dealership. However, after a technician and manager acknowledged the issue with the seat cushioning shifting, the remedy provided was inadequate. An upholstery shop only added minimal cushioning to the driver's seat, which did not resolve the problem, and the passenger seat was left untouched. Subsequently, another upholstery professional confirmed the issue couldn't be fixed that way. Despite my loyalty to Acura based on its reputation for reliability, safety, and luxury, the dealership's response has been disappointing, as they seem unwilling to address the seat issues effectively as other manufacturers have done in the past.

Subject: Recent Service Experience at Metro Acura
Hello,
I visited Metro Acura on August 5th for a car inspection after purchasing it. I informed Tiffany about the inspection, the tire pressure light issue, and the airbag recall. However, after being told the car was fine except for broken tire sensors causing the light, I discovered the airbag light was on after leaving. Multiple phone calls were made to Tiffany and Hector without any callbacks. After speaking with Vince on August 9, he mentioned I needed to pay $[redacted] for an airbag inspection.
I'm disappointed in the lack of follow-up and communication, as well as being asked for an additional fee. The focus on the tires instead of the overall car inspection was not what I expected as a new customer. The suggestion of a possible $[redacted] cost for an airbag issue is concerning, and I will be escalating this matter to Honda/Acura.
I value good customer service and hope these issues can be resolved promptly.
Thank you,
Jeanette Owens

I returned my Acura TLX at Beck Chevrolet in Yonkers, NY, but they mistakenly sent it to Curry Acura on Central Ave. Acura Financial declared the vehicle as not returned, leading to a delinquent payment on my credit report. After several months, the vehicle was finally found and grounded. The back and forth between Acura and Chevy caused me distress, requiring multiple trips to the dealership and numerous phone calls. This situation caused me significant anxiety, and I feel that Acura should compensate me for their negligence and mishandling of the situation.

I recently leased a [redacted] Acura MDX from Acura in Huntington NY. Upon experiencing an issue with water leaking from the tubing in the hatchback, causing damage to the rug and radio, I took it to Acura in Wantagh NY for service as advised by Huntington. Unfortunately, Wantagh mentioned it would take about a week to fix the problem but did not offer a loaner vehicle due to not being the leasing location. When I contacted Huntington, they also declined to provide a loaner since the car was not being serviced there. Despite calling the customer service number provided, I was informed that my complaint would be noted internally with no promise of a follow-up. As a result, I am left without a car for at least a week without a loaner or any reimbursement for the missed usage.
