Hello, my name is Sean H. I used to be the CEO of OzEmail, a NASDAQ-listed company. I've started a new venture with around [redacted] employees and am in need of a PC backup application for my coding work. I prefer to trial software before making a purchase, especially since I use Microsoft's Visual Studio to write code. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a phone number on your website for pre-sales questions. Could you kindly email me a contact number? I am interested in starting with a single user package initially. You can reach me at [redacted] Thank you. Sean H. AO

I have purchased every version of True Image since [redacted]. I have noticed that when creating backup images using the boot disk, Acronis automatically sets the backup to on, which I find inconvenient as I prefer to have control over my backups and ensure they are not overwritten. It would be helpful if there was an option to turn off auto backup or set it to a specific schedule like "daily, weekly, never". Remembering to turn it off manually after each backup is prone to errors, especially during less frequent full backups. I have been upgrading in hopes of finding a solution to this issue, but so far, the updates seem to focus more on hardware than addressing this usability concern. Can you confirm if the latest version allows for setting the default to turn off automatic backup? Thank you. - M.H.

I seem to have made a duplicate payment for Acronis [redacted] as I already purchased it before receiving an upgrade notification. I would like to discuss the products I have bought and inquire about the supposed free upgrade from [redacted] to [redacted].
I prefer speaking with a representative instead of receiving an email. I am frustrated with the customer service experience and would appreciate prompt assistance in resolving this matter.

I recently purchased your backup service for my VPS on Leaseweb. Despite trying for over a month, I've struggled to install the backup agent, and Leaseweb support has not been able to assist me effectively. Luckily, I've been able to research online and now I'm at the last step of the installation process. However, I keep encountering an error stating that the required installation packages are incomplete. Can you advise me on what steps to take next? I have attached a screenshot of the error for reference.

I need help canceling the True Image trial without being charged after the trial period. I have tried multiple times to cancel on the website but keep encountering issues. When attempting to log in, it says my email or password is incorrect. The "forgot password" option states my account is not found, and creating a new account indicates my email address/account already exists. The forum login presents the same problem. This experience is frustrating, and it appears Acronis' claim of allowing cancellations at any time may not hold true. This poor customer service has left me reluctant to purchase any Acronis products in the future.

As a retired software developer, I have been a long-time user of Acronis, starting from version 9. Recently, I upgraded my Windows system from 7 to 10 only to find out that my Acronis [redacted] is not compatible with Windows 10. My primary needs from Acronis are basic: creating full image backups, restoring them, and extracting files from old backups using Windows file explorer. I rely on Acronis for three of my Windows systems. Cost is a significant factor for me as a retiree, and I am open to using older Acronis versions. I have heard that Acronis [redacted] is compatible with Windows 10, which could be a suitable solution for me.
Unfortunately, my internet access has been disrupted due to wildfire smoke, which makes conducting research challenging. I would appreciate any recommendations you can provide so I can decide on my next steps. Thank you for your assistance.
Sincerely,
Don Johnson

I have an external drive with an Acronis backup. I've installed a new drive in my HP laptop and tried to factory reset it but am missing the second factory CD. I also misplaced the codes for the Windows master install disks. Is there a way to create a bootable Acronis CD from the external drive to restore my backup without reinstalling the old drive? If not, can I temporarily reinstall the old drive, boot up, and create a bootable Acronis CD even though Acronis is not installed on the old drive? I have Acronis Version [redacted] and need to restore it for Windows 7 since my old DVDs are damaged and no longer usable. How can I create a bootable Acronis CD for Windows 7 using Acronis Version [redacted]?

I inadvertently made a double order for the same item. On 7/19/21, I was charged $46.42 and $71.00 on my Visa ending in [redacted]. Despite being advised of the option for a refund, I re-purchased the program because I was eager for a fresh start. Due to my recent health issues, my wife, P.C., is handling this matter. You can reach her at [redacted] to arrange the refund with our new card number. We appreciate your assistance as you have been helpful to us in the past. Thank you.

I am facing an issue with my Acronis [redacted] backup because my desktop backup hard drive is full. During the initial set-up, the auto clean up instruction was turned 'off'. I am now trying to delete old backup files manually to free up space and enable the auto clean up feature. However, every time I attempt to delete the old files following the manual directions, the operation starts but stops shortly after without deleting any files. I need assistance with completing the clean-up process.

After having trouble with incomplete deletions in Acronis [redacted], I had to reinstall the software. However, now that I've backed up my data, I'm unable to open and read the tib file. Previously, I recall a tibx file being generated. I'm curious about the difference between the two and why I can't access my previous backups. It's frustrating that technical support isn't available for my product, unlike the support I receive for my 4-year-old Cyberlink PD16. Finding it challenging to reach Acronis for help is disappointing, especially considering I've been a customer for many years.

I'm experiencing continuous issues with my Acronis backup. Two internal drives were successfully backed up, but the process fails when attempting to back up a third drive with 2TB of data. The error message mentions a fatal error while reading the snapshot, and the system logs indicate IO operation retries for Disk 3. Upon checking the application log, a VSS error related to system Writer with an access denied message is highlighted.
My system is Windows 10 running Acronis True Image, with the source drive being an internal SSD and the target drive, an external Seagate HDD connected via USB 3. The backup failure persists despite ample space on the external drive.
I rely on Acronis for my backups and am puzzled by this recurring issue. Your guidance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
D. Slutsky
