My name is Patrick B. and I receive monthly Social Security benefits. I rely on UsDirectExpress to access my benefits. Unfortunately, I misplaced my card and ordered a replacement. UsDirectExpress sent the new card to the wrong address, leading to identity theft and someone draining my account. My spouse also receives benefits. The Social Security office confirmed $[redacted] was taken. Despite this, I was directed to contact UsDirectExpress. After speaking with Corey from the fraud unit, I was informed there was no guarantee of recovering the funds, but they are investigating. Corey advised it could take 45-90 days to potentially receive my money back. I was asked to order another card to potentially receive the funds. I went back to the Social Security office, and they contacted UsDirectExpress on my behalf. UsDirectExpress mentioned I would have to wait for a fraud form to arrive in Dublin, GA by 12/18/[redacted]. Once I fill out the form, I might get my benefits back. Meanwhile, I am facing difficulties paying my rent and utilities. It seems like UsDirectExpress may have some involvement with these fraudulent activities.

I recently witnessed an ABC News Jacksonville report where they were able to quickly resolve issues. I am currently facing a problem with Sam's Club's customer service. I followed their instructions and returned a Serta Mattress, which was under warranty, to my local Sam's. As they didn't have a replacement available, they advised me to return it for a full refund. However, now they have both my mattress and over $[redacted].00 of mine. Despite numerous attempts, no one at customer service is willing to assist me. I have exchanged 32 pages of emails with them, but I am yet to receive my refund. It has been over 30 days with many hours spent on hold, and I am still without my money. Shirley G. My girlfriend and I recently had a troubling experience with an Uber shared ride. When we approached the driver, he seemed unwelcoming upon seeing us (African American). Despite having paid for two passengers, he insisted we had only paid for one. This led to a heated exchange where he asked us to leave the car mid-ride. We suggested involving law enforcement to sort out the issue amicably but the driver refused. Ultimately, after various confrontations with other passengers, we were left feeling disregarded and uncomfortable during the entire journey. We reported the incident to Uber, but their response of apologizing and offering a credit felt inadequate given the situation. The driver, Michael, driving a Prius with license plate number AU37174, displayed unprofessional behavior that left us shaken and upset. Such behavior should not be tolerated in a service industry like transportation.

During his Davos speech, Trump mentioned plans to cut Social Security after the [redacted] election. Despite the lack of coverage, the country is founded on the rule of law. Democrats have been pushing a strong case, despite Republican obstruction. This situation has led me to consider voting for the Democratic party. I urge for Social Security to be a focal point. It's troubling that Senators Coryn and Cruz opposed documents and witnesses. I fear for the future if the Constitution is disregarded. I worry about the impact on my children and grandchildren. Trump's statement about Social Security and his unprecedented obstruction raise concerns about checks and balances. As a U.S. citizen, I support Adam Schiff's defense of the Constitution, which my representatives seem to ignore.

I am experiencing difficulties when trying to contact Unemployment as they are not answering calls despite reports of hiring staff to answer phones. When I call, they claim they cannot take calls. Emails are also going unanswered. Despite being told I am ineligible, I am instructed to file weekly and received no clarification when visiting the office. I have been diligently filing each week as instructed, but I am not receiving any assistance. I have been attempting to contact them since April 7 with no resolution in sight. I am in urgent need of help as my rent is due in May.

I lost my job due to COVID-19 and have been struggling to apply for unemployment since March 24th, [redacted]. Despite countless attempts online and over [redacted] phone calls, I have not been able to reach anyone for assistance. After finally speaking to Lindsey on May 1st, who promised a call back within 3 days, I never heard back. I even reached out to local offices, federal agencies, and even the President's email, but have had no luck in getting help. It's been over 2 months of frustration and I am unsure of what else to do. If you are unable to assist me, please let me know so I can stop waiting for a response. Thank you.

Both major political parties increasingly rely on manipulative advertising techniques, confirmation bias, and fear-mongering propaganda. I reside in Golden Manor Apartments in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. In December [redacted], a visually impaired lady, referred to as Robert L., attempted to increase my rent three times in one month. Following my complaints, Robert L. retired on December 31st. Subsequently, I faced eviction for allegedly undermining Property Management. I took legal action against them, where the U.S. government ruled in my favor, leading to a change in management. However, the new manager, referred to as Christian B., continued the harassment. I sought assistance from the local judicial system to address the unfair treatment and eviction threats. Despite presenting evidence of misconduct, I felt unheard and mistreated. Now, I am seeking help to resolve this distressing situation, as a 66-year-old individual on a limited income. Your support in rectifying this unjust situation would be greatly appreciated.

I am becoming frustrated with the biased nature of your news reporting. As a UU Army veteran of over 30 years, I believe in the importance of respecting diverse opinions. However, your news program seems to show favoritism, which is not conducive to fair reporting. The recent debates appeared disorganized, lacking structure. While Trump's mistakes were highlighted, Biden's were often overlooked, particularly his involvement with his son in specific dealings. I would appreciate it if both sides of the story could be represented in your reports. Thank you. Sincerely, an American citizen and soldier expecting balanced news coverage.

We are currently in Gainesville, FL watching the Clemson, SC & Boston College football game on the ABC network via local channel 7, and approximately 5-7 minutes into the second quarter, the broadcast switched to Spanish. Now into the 4th quarter, the game is still in Spanish, and as an English-speaking family, we are struggling to follow. Kindly investigate and rectify this language switch promptly. The timing of this issue amidst crucial upcoming elections raises concerns. Your swift resolution to this matter would be highly appreciated. It's disappointing to have to raise this concern and we've been watching most of the game on mute, hoping for a return to English commentary. Additionally, I'm a retired veteran. I received unemployment benefits from April to August [redacted]. However, my payments suddenly stopped after I was informed that my social security number was involved in fraudulent activity. Despite submitting all the necessary documents, I have yet to receive any further assistance. It is now December 7, [redacted], and I am facing the risk of losing my car and home due to the lack of funds. I recently placed my first order with VIEW YOUR DEAL. I selected the items I wanted, completed the form, and entered my VISA CARD details. Suddenly, a pink message with an exclamation point appeared, and all my information vanished without explanation. I was concerned about being scammed as I trust VIEW YOUR DEAL as a loyal follower. I have good computer skills and credit, so I am puzzled about where my information went. The message from the "system administrator" made me even more worried.

In October [redacted], I bought a sewing machine from Singer Sewing Machine Co. Unfortunately, their warehouse made an error with the address. The UPS tracking number is 1Z7F7R[redacted]3. Singer claims it was delivered to the wrong address. Despite this, they refuse to take responsibility and informed me that their obligation is fulfilled. They just provide the ID number [redacted] and mention they will investigate. I've contacted Singer numerous times, but no resolution yet. As a disabled senior, it took me a while to save for the sewing machine. I appreciate any assistance you can offer. Thank you.

Hello, I'm Angel Lopez. I am reaching out regarding a car I bought two months ago on November 30, [redacted], at City World Ford in Bronx, New York. I have been facing multiple issues with the car since day one. It arrived with scratches, worn-out tires, a dead battery, and nearly caused two accidents with my family onboard. When I contacted the bank that financed the car, they advised me to contact the dealership. However, City World Ford did not offer assistance or a replacement until I had the title. Another dealership highlighted that my trade-in Honda CRV, a [redacted] dark grey model, had been in an accident and was not well-maintained. Despite requesting a refund of the $5,[redacted] down payment, City World Ford declined and did not respond to my calls, only providing an answering machine. During my last visit, when I demanded a resolution, they refused. This has been my first car purchase, and I feel taken advantage of by City World Ford.

I have a mortgage with United Wholesale Mortgage and was enrolled in their bi-weekly payment program. On February 5, [redacted], they made an error and debited my account for $[redacted].51. Despite being told I wouldn't be charged again until 2/26/21, I was debited once more on 2/12/21, resulting in an overdraft fee. After multiple calls to UWM, they admitted the error but failed to refund the money promptly. After several unfulfilled promises, I contacted various individuals at the company for assistance. A customer service liaison, Jeff Graff, assured me he would resolve the issue and cover the overdraft fees. I later received a check via FedEx for the fees but still awaited the $[redacted].51 refund. Despite numerous attempts and escalating the matter to management, I have yet to receive the refund. I feel I have been patient enough, and UWM should simply issue me a check for the amount owed. I am frustrated with the delays and lack of resolution in this matter.

Hello, I’m Natisha from Tyler, Texas, and I'm dealing with a serious issue of people assaulting disabled children in public. I am incredibly upset and distressed by recent events. Last night, I contacted the police, but unfortunately, they did not take any action. Today, I am planning to visit my local law enforcement office to file a complaint against the officers. I care for my disabled granddaughter full-time, as she is very ill and on hospice. Additionally, my daughter is also in poor health. This situation is overwhelming, and it deeply saddens me. I am determined to raise awareness about the mistreatment of disabled children, especially my black and disabled granddaughter who cannot speak for herself. I am not giving up on seeking justice for her. I have previously shared my story in the local news, and now I am reaching out for support and advocating for a specific law to protect disabled children from harm. I traveled to Hawaii after taking a pre-travel Covid test conducted by CVS, but upon arrival, I was informed the test was invalid. Despite following guidelines with an approved test, I was told I had to quarantine for 10 days in a hotel room without cleaning services. The authorities did not provide assistance, leaving us feeling helpless. Despite offering to take another test locally, we were not allowed to do so. We had to leave the next day, incurring additional expenses adjusting our travel plans. Hawaii Airlines approved our documentation but did not help with our entry issues. The situation was frustrating and we received little support navigating the testing requirements.
