In fact, much of this information on this page is superfluous because this JetBlue phone number is a direct line to a human being. The line is well-staffed and you should anticipate a very short wait on hold or none whatsoever, as long as you are calling during business hours.
We don't know of any phone menus you would encounter when calling either.

What are the hours and when should I call?

JetBlue operates the call center for this 801-449-2525 phone number 24 hours, 7 days. The short answer is that you should call on a Tuesday. This observation and the following section are based on analysis of a sample set of 6,605 calls made in the last 90 days using our free, web-based phone (see above).
An important note: busy times vs hold times vs best time to call
When we refer to busy or less busy times, we are talking about the volume of calls. The busiest times are when the most people are calling this JetBlue phone number (least busy times have fewer people calling). This high call volume does not necessarily mean that you will have a long hold time when you call. Companies like JetBlue staff their call centers differently based on the time of day and day of the week, so you may experience a shorter wait on hold at the busiest of times. When we refer to the best time to call, we are referring to the optimal combination of lower call volume and shorter wait times.

The least busy time to call

The least busy day to call JetBlue is Tuesday. The most busy day to call is Friday. Again, this is based on a sample of 6,605 calls made with our AI-powered, web-based phone in the last 90 days.

The shortest wait on hold

We measured the shortest hold times to be on Monday. The longest wait in the queue on average occurs on Tuesday.

The best time to call

In summation, the best day to call JetBlue is Tuesday. This is not the day with the shortest wait on hold in the phone system, but we still recommend it for its ideal combination of low call volume and short hold times. Plus we believe that JetBlue staffs the call center well on Tuesday.
Once again, please put this information in perspective because this phone number has no phone menu or long waits. It generally gets picked up right away if calling during their opening hours. If there is any way, it will typically be very short.

Calling this JetBlue Customer Number

Jan 4, 2024

When calling JetBlue for a customer service question or concern, callers can usually expect decently short wait times and helpful agents — as I recently discovered. While I've never flown on JetBlue, I'm considering booking an upcoming flight and wanted to get information about the perks program some friends have talked about.

As soon I called, the automated system advised me to stay on the line for English, press 9 for Spanish or 8 for French. I waited for English and was given a few more options: I could make reservations over the phone, change a reservation, get basic information or find out details about JetBlue's air and hotel packages. I opted for general information, which included their rewards program known as True Blue.

After making my choice, I was offered more menu options including booking/adjusting a reservation or seeking help with general questions. I chose the latter, receiving a message that my call may be recorded and my wait time would be around 3 minutes. Hold music filled the time until a representative came on the line.

I was greeted by a customer service rep after the estimated time and began asking about JetBlue's rewards program, telling her that I've never flown with the airline. She cheerily welcomed me to the JetBlue family while sharing that the TrueBlue program is perfect for any kind of customer who wants to earn points by traveling, even for a person who flies just once or twice a year since points earned can come from shopping and dining options also. Customers earn 2 points per $1 spent on airfare, she explained, and points earned increase through car rentals, hotel stays and cruise packages.

Joining the program is free, she told me, adding that I could sign up online or now over the phone. She also directed me to specific website where I could read more about the specific ways to earn points with other options. I asked if points ever expire, and she said no, adding that they remain on accounts until used and can be redeemed anytime, even for flights on participating partner airlines such as Hawaii Airlines and Qatar Airways. She also said I could apply for the JetBlue credit card and earn points on eligible purchases.

The program sounded like a great way to spend less money on flights and travel so I thanked her for her time and expertise as she suggested I read more about TrueBlue on their website. She also suggested that once I become a member and receive a membership number, to be sure to include this number in all JetBlue flight searches and reservations to ensure the points are credited to my account.

Thanks to a very short wait time and a helpful representative, the call was an efficient and effective use of time and I highly recommend calling JetBlue customer service for any concerns.
