You need to sign in to your account to start selling coins on bitFlyer. Follow the steps below to successfully sell your coins on the platform:
1. Go to the Buy/Sell section of your account.
2. Displayed above are the cryptocurrencies available for sale. Click on the coin you intend to sell and hit the Sell button.
3. Click the arrows to change the currency you wish to use.
4. Enter the amount you plan to sell in the Amount box and hit Proceed.
5. Submit the order to sell your coins.
You can sell Bitcoins in three ways: Buy/Sell, Lightning Spot services and Exchange. The minimum order size is 0.00001 BTC. Here is how you do it in each case:
For the sell order to execute, a user should also place a buy order that matches your price for the sell order. If the amount exceeds the amount bought, the order only partially executes.
Below are the steps to sell your virtual currency on bitFlyer:
1. Log in to your account and press Account Funding on the main menu.
2. Find your bitFlyer address and QR code on the Deposit BTC tab.
3. After depositing the currency to your bitFlyer account, click on Lightning.
4. Market sell order or Place a limit by typing in the amount you plan to sell. For a Limit Sell, insert the price and hit Sell. If you want to place a market sell order, the virtual currency is automatically sold at the current market price.
To cancel a sell order, go to Open Orders and hit X on the specific order you want to cancel. Note that orders that are already in the blockchain may not be canceled.
