  • Connect your computer to the following address http://ui.nv.gov/

  • Click on the "For UI Claimants" tab.

  • Go to the New Claimant Registration on the upper right-hand corner.

  • Complete on the "Claimant Registration" screen

  • Review the information on the confirmation screen, and click on the Submit button. You can also click on the Back button if you need to make a change

  • Notice the message confirming your new user Id and click Login to continue

  • Enter your newly created username on the "Claimant Login" screen and click the Continue button

  • Enter your password in the "Security Device" and click the Enter button

  • After successfully logging in for the first time, you'll access a screen that describes how to set your security profile, and then you are all set up and ready to enjoy unemployment benefits.

Checking unemployment benefits online

  • The fastest way to file a claim is through the Claimant Self Service (CSS) portal at http://ui.nv.gov/css.html

  • Click the For UI Claimants tab

  • You'll be directed to the Existing User Sign In link in the upper right of the screen.

  • Log into the CSS system using your established username and password.

  • Click the File Weekly Claim link.

  • Click the Next button after reading the reminders on the "Important Information" screen.

  • You can check the status of your unemployment benefits by navigating through the tabs on your left, which consist of confirmation history, appeal information, and determination history, among other options.
