Which Body Shops Does Esurance Allow Me to Use?

When your car is damaged from an accident, you do not want to be worrying about which auto body repair shops you can use. Thanks to the E-star repair program, Esurance has made it easy to find in-network auto shops.

You also have the option to use your auto body repair shop if you have a preferred one you would like to use.

Esurance Body Shops

While you have the choice to use your own service, it is highly recommended to do your repairs using one of the auto body shops in the E-star repair network. In addition to the work being guaranteed for as long as you own the vehicle, you will also receive regular email and text updates from the repair facility.

To find your closest E-star auto repair body shop you can follow the below steps:

1. Go to the find a repair network page located on Esurance's website.
2. There are two different ways you can use the search tool. You can search by address if you know the address of the auto body repair shop you're considering, or If you don't have a shop in mind, you can search using your zip code to get a list of shops in your area.
3. You will receive all the contact information as well as the address for the shop when you run the search.
4. All you need to do is call your preferred body shop, using the number listed in your search results, and schedule your vehicle. The body shop will handle the repairs and the rest of the process directly with Esurance.

Using your Own Repair Shop

If you have your own preferred auto body repair shop, you can also choose to handle the repairs yourself by submitting a photo claim. All you need to do is submit the pictures through the app. Once the estimate has been completed Esurance will transfer the money directly to you to cover the cost of the repairs.

1. Tap on the menu icon and select the claims button in the Esurance app to begin the claims process.
2. On the claim overview page, select the Appraisal Center and select the get started button.
3. The damaged areas must be photographed and submitted.
4. Enter the VIN number of the vehicle and any other specific details about it next.
5. Click on the submit now button after you've entered all the information.
6. A claims representative will contact you within one business day with an estimate for repairs or to schedule an in-person inspection if the pictures are not suitable.
7. Once the claim has been approved you will be paid out directly to pay for the repairs you need to be done to your vehicle.
