An important note: busy times vs hold times vs best time to call
When we refer to busy or less busy times, we are talking about the volume of calls. The busiest times are when the most people are calling this Blackberry (Canada) phone number (least busy times have fewer people calling). This high call volume does not necessarily mean that you will have a long hold time when you call. Companies like Blackberry (Canada) staff their call centers differently based on the time of day and day of the week, so you may experience a shorter wait on hold at the busiest of times. When we refer to the best time to call, we are referring to the optimal combination of lower call volume and shorter wait times.
The least busy time to call
The least busy day to call Blackberry (Canada) is Tuesday. The most busy day to call is Monday. Again, this is based on a sample of 442 calls made with our AI-powered, web-based phone in the last 90 days.
The shortest wait on hold
We measured the shortest hold times to be on Tuesday. The longest wait in the queue on average occurs on Wednesday.
The best time to call
In summation, the best day to call Blackberry (Canada) is Tuesday. In this case, it's a no-brainer. Tuesday is not only the least busy day for calling this Blackberry (Canada) number, but it is also the day with the shortest hold times.
Once again, please put this information in perspective because this phone number has no phone menu or long waits. It generally gets picked up right away if calling during their opening hours. If there is any way, it will typically be very short.

My Experience Calling Blackberry (Canada) at this Number

Aug 28, 2023

When calling BlackBerry's customer service number, it's important to remember that BlackBerry is no longer offering customer support for its smartphone products, as it discontinued support for them in 2022. As such, this number is only meant for existing customers of its cybersecurity division who have already purchased BlackBerry's security-based products.

This number is also only meant to be used by Canadian customers, as United States-based customers have a different number for their needs. Because of this, unless you're locatedĀ in Canada, you're probably not going to get much use out of dialing this number.

If you try to make a call to the sales department for information about purchasing a BlackBerry device, you're directed to BlackBerry's website. You're given a choice of whether you want to buy devices for personal use or business use, but it doesn't matter which one you select. In either case, the system will play a message letting you know that you can find devices on BlackBerry's website and can log on there, before hanging up automatically.

Trying to call the number for technical support isn't going to be any more successful unless you already have made a purchase with BlackBerry and have a customer number. First, if you request technical support, the system will not let you continue without selecting either that you have an existing ticket or that you're an existing customer. If neither applies to you, you have no way to reach a representative.

If you do try to claim you're a customer, the system will ask you for your customer number, so attempting to bypass the system for information won't work. Unless you're a bona fide customer of BlackBerry prior to dialing this number, you won't be able to use this number for anything more than information on how to get to the website.

Overall, it's impossible to judge the customer experience given that BlackBerry has closed off its customer service number to anyone who isn't already a BlackBerry customer. Given that BlackBerry has chosen to reinvent itself as a security-focused company and doesn't offer any support for its mobile devices, it makes sense to keep most people out of customer service. Unless you've purchased a BlackBerry security product, you don't have any reason to dial this number, and most people who buy BlackBerry's security software are office decision makers looking for a solution for hundreds of people at once.

By limiting phone service to people who already have an existing customer relationship, BlackBerry likely has lower wait times for its genuine customers. However, there's no way to know that for sure without being a BlackBerry customer, so this is an incomplete picture of this phone number's actual experience.
