My initial payment was made on 10/17/[redacted]. However, I received a letter from Wellcare on 10/20 stating that my policy had been terminated due to non-payment. I have tried to resolve this over the phone, but there has been a language barrier with the staff. My bill was paid before the termination letter was sent, so the termination seems unjustified. As a retired critical care RN of 45 years, I am disappointed by the handling of this situation. I urge you to investigate and reinstate my pharmacy coverage. On 10/14/19, I started the process to cancel my membership due to Wellcare leaving my doctor's practice. Initially, I was informed it would take 5-7 days, but after sending numerous faxes and spending hours on the phone, the cancellation date was extended to Dec 31st. This delay is causing a critical medication shortage for me, impacting my immediate health. Despite having Medicare and state Medicaid, resolving this issue is vital. I urge for a swift resolution as I'm in urgent need of my medication, which is essential for my well-being. The process has been much longer than promised, and I hope to receive the cancellation promptly as well as compensation for the time and effort spent dealing with this issue.

I have been attempting to cancel my insurance with your company. Originally, I was informed that my doctor was in-network, but this turned out to be inaccurate. I have been promised a call back by CHICA numerous times, but she has yet to follow through. I no longer wish to be insured with your company and am requesting to cancel my membership immediately. Around a month ago, I took a COVID-19 test which was negative. Recently, my daughter was exposed to our neighbor who has tested positive for the virus. We were informed about this only yesterday, and I spent the entire day with my daughter before she was informed about the neighbor's positive test result. We were not wearing masks that day. I am wondering if Wellcare will cover the cost for me to take a second test to ensure I am not positive. Thank you.

I enrolled in a Well Care health plan without prior prescription drug coverage. The representative who signed me up was aware that I only had Medicare parts A and B. I have now been notified of a penalty due to the lack of evidence of prescription drug coverage, which I want to avoid by canceling the policy. Despite my efforts, I have been unable to cancel it. The customer service number provided only has a recording, leaving me unable to speak to anyone directly. Although I was assured on December 12th that the policy would be canceled and a confirmation letter sent, this did not happen. I have since returned the form requesting evidence of prescription drug coverage, explaining once again that I do not have such coverage and requesting the cancellation of my policy. Unfortunately, this has not been successful. I have also sent multiple emails without any response. Can anyone assist me in canceling my Well Care policy? Thank you, Garry Wallace [redacted].

Dear Team, I was previously enrolled in WellCare PDP and received "Extra Help," but due to no longer being on SSDI, I am no longer eligible for assistance with prescription drugs. Despite multiple attempts to explain this over the phone, language barriers with the representatives have led to unresolved issues. I urge WellCare to cancel my account (ID [redacted]3) promptly, as I have requested this seven times in the last three years. I have not paid premiums for 3-4 years and if WellCare is billing SSA incorrectly, corrections need to be made. Please disenroll me and backdate to when my SSDI benefits ceased. Today, December 16, [redacted], I discovered that my WellCare RX premium increased from $20 to $68 without any notification. Despite contacting them to cancel after speaking with multiple representatives for over an hour, I was informed I couldn't cancel except during enrollment. I maintain this plan solely for potential future use, as I do not currently require any prescriptions. The recent receipt of a new card labeled "Wellcare Medicare Rx Value Plus" alerted me to the premium hike, as my previous card did not include "Plus." As a result, I logged into my account and found the charge already updated to $68, leaving me surprised as I had not been informed about this change prior to receiving the new card.

I am inquiring about WellCare's status as a preferred Medicare provider for Memorial Hospital of Gulfport, MS. Our Harrison County has a population of close to [redacted],[redacted] potential clients for your health insurance. Despite seeing frequent TV commercials promoting WellCare's Medicare coverage, it has come to my attention that WellCare has not been a preferred provider for Memorial Hospital for at least two years. This situation would result in any services utilized at Memorial being considered out of network for me. I am puzzled as to how WellCare is able to offer coverage at other prominent hospitals across multiple states but does not have a preferred status with Memorial Hospital, our region's largest hospital organization. There appears to be an issue with your underwriting policies or possibly a disconnect with the standards that Memorial Hospital expects from a preferred Medicare provider. Could you clarify this discrepancy for me?
