I was laid off from the company due to its closure and was later impacted by the restructuring under the new ownership. I initiated my unemployment claim on December 11th and have consistently filed online each week since. Unfortunately, all my claims have been denied without clear reasons, leaving me unable to rectify any mistakes or seek clarification. The system mentioned a denial letter to commence an appeal, but I have not received any such correspondence. Previously, I had left the company voluntarily in April [redacted] to assist my mother with her health challenges, leading to an initial denial of my unemployment claim back then. After being rehired by the company as a temporary remote worker, the recent layoff prompted me to file for unemployment again. I am now facing financial struggles without any income while caring for my mother, who requires surgery and my full support during her recovery. Any guidance on this matter would be greatly valued.

I am an independent contractor who was initially denied unemployment but received an email recently about potentially qualifying for COVID-19 Federal Unemployment Benefits under the CARES Act. This new provision aims to assist independent contractors like myself who were previously ineligible for state unemployment benefits. To apply, I need to file for unemployment through my state's online application, providing accurate personal and income information. When specifying my employer, I should indicate "SELF-EMPLOYED APP BASED INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR" to avoid delays. Additionally, I can complete a COVID-19 Unemployment form on DDI's website for further assistance. While the exact timeline for processing claims remains uncertain, I can contact DDI for support and clarification during this application process.

I am expecting to receive a week's pay from my employer for the week ending Apr 11. However, my employer has not disclosed the exact amount I will receive, leaving me unsure about how much I will be paid. Without this information, I am uncertain about how to report my earnings for last week. Waiting until the 20th or later may result in missing the deadline to claim for that specific week. I am seeking advice on how to handle this situation promptly and effectively.

I applied for an extension to my unemployment benefits in March after receiving a call confirming they received my new filing. Despite continuing to do my job search and file weekly claims, I haven't received any benefits since my last check. I have tried contacting them through the SAW site via email and left two messages but have not received any responses. I believe I should be eligible for the extension and possibly the new unemployment benefits. I am in need of assistance and answers, please. Due to email issues, you can also contact me via the unemployment website. Thank you for addressing this matter promptly. - Tammy I.

I am currently on standby unemployment with Washington state unemployment, so I do not have to search for work. Recently, I received an email about filing a PEUC claim to extend my benefits for 13 weeks. I filed as soon as I received the alert. However, I have heard conflicting information that I should have waited until the end of my benefits to file. Two days ago, I received a letter from unemployment stating that I am now required to actively search for work or risk being denied benefits. My claim still shows as standby, so I am unsure if I should disregard this letter. Given the current situation with the coronavirus, I understand that job search requirements have been relaxed. I am seeking clarification on how to proceed to ensure I remain on standby status.

Due to the stay-at-home order, my family daycare business has been significantly impacted. For assistance with my UI benefits claim for Covid-19, please contact me at [redacted]. 1. The drop-down menu does not accurately cover my situation. Although my daycare remains open, my income has decreased due to fewer children attending because their parents are either unemployed or working from home. 2. I am unable to input my quarterly information as the section appears greyed out or won't accept my data. Despite working approximately 50 hours per week and earning around $2,[redacted] per month before taxes, the system states I did not work in [redacted]. How can I resolve this issue? 3. When indicating my last day of work, the options provided do not address my situation since it is simply the end of the week. How should I correctly respond when I haven't been terminated or laid off? 4. I initially filed a claim over the phone, but upon checking online, the system prompted me to submit a new claim. Why has this not been updated? 5. My employer section lists 4 identical employers. How can I consolidate this to just one entry? 6. I have attempted to contact support without success, repeatedly getting disconnected. I urgently need assistance in rectifying my application for UI benefits. Please call me at [redacted] or email me at [redacted] to provide guidance on addressing these issues. Thank you, Cindy C.

I need assistance with my unemployment claim as there are multiple errors that I'm unable to correct, particularly with my employer information. The system is prompting me to select from four different employers, all linked to the same company, when I actually only work for one employer on reduced/part-time hours. Despite my attempts to input the correct details and provide supporting documents like my pay stubs, the system keeps complicating matters. The incorrect information is causing disqualification and prompts to restart my claim each week. My boss has also tried to rectify the address error, but the problems persist. I initially misunderstood the standby option and am now struggling to correct the inaccuracies on my claim. Any help in resolving these issues promptly would be greatly appreciated, as it's been an ongoing problem for over a month despite multiple attempts to fix it.

I am seeking clarity on the benefits I've been approved for and confirmation on whether the upload I submitted was received. Can one be eligible for both Unemployment Insurance Compensation (UIC) and Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PAU) simultaneously? I'm puzzled why a pay claim for four weeks was initiated ahead of the six-week claim when submitted concurrently. The available options do not align with my situation, leaving me feeling unfairly judged and unable to reach anyone to address my concerns. I believe I was wrongfully terminated due to disability and have my union pursuing a grievance for unfair labor practices, discrimination, and harassment. The challenge now is that the grievance committees responsible have been disbanded, and the management has extended deadlines due to the pandemic. I request assistance in comprehending the processes involved and the next steps to take. Best regards, GG

I am uncertain if I will still be eligible for unemployment benefits once my job reopens due to safety concerns. I work as a Banquet Server, which involves handling food buffets, an activity that I feel is no longer safe considering the lack of mask-wearing among customers and staff in my workplace. Moreover, I have two high-risk factors: a history of cancer leading to a low white blood cell count, and being 65 years old. My place of employment, a hotel that offers various services such as accommodating guests in [redacted] rooms, front desk services, valet parking, and restaurant and banquet serving, poses significant challenges in enforcing social distancing measures. The hotel does not mandate guests to wear masks, making it difficult for employees like myself to ensure safety while providing services that involve close interaction with guests. It is crucial that everyone within the hotel premises wears masks consistently, even while engaging in conversation. Extended unemployment insurance coverage until at least August [redacted] should be available to employees who are immunocompromised or at higher risk for Covid-19, as recommended by medical professionals or public health authorities. Thank you, Mariana

I requested a new debit card, but I think there was an issue with my address, as it may have been sent back to sender. I updated my address, but I still have not received it after almost three months. I've been unable to reach a live person on the phone despite numerous attempts. I appreciate any assistance you can provide. Just to clarify, the card was not denied. Thank you. - Dave T.

I applied for unemployment during the week of April 4th. Initially approved, my standby request was denied despite my continuous employment with the company for over 9 years. Subsequently, I was denied due to a misunderstanding in one of the questions, where I mentioned receiving retirement pay and needing a doctor's note as I have been on light duty since July of last year. I submitted the required documents, but received an email stating they did not hear back from me. Trying to reach them via phone was unsuccessful. When I logged in, I was prompted to sign up for a covid claim, which I completed and got approved. However, my weekly claims since April 4th are still being denied. Checking my account, I noticed they are still linked to the original claim instead of the covid claim.

I submitted my unemployment application a month ago but was denied due to not meeting the required [redacted] working hours and having issues verifying one of my jobs. When I tried to reapply like others suggested, I found myself locked out of my account. The temporary passwords provided were not working, preventing me from accessing my account or contacting them through the website. Despite calling multiple numbers like the claims, general, help, and headquarters lines around 40 to 50 times per day, I have been unsuccessful in reaching a resolution. An automated message mentioned escalating the issue to a technician a week ago, leaving me anxious about losing everything if I am unable to speak with a customer service representative soon. Additionally, I need to update my phone number to [redacted].

I applied for unemployment benefits a month ago and was denied due to an error on their part regarding my job hours verification at one of my workplaces. When attempting to reapply to address the initial denial, I encountered difficulties logging into my account. Despite confirming my account's active status, my password was invalid. Even the temporary password I received did not work. I have a new primary phone number, and my attempts to contact support have been unsuccessful. I am concerned about losing everything if I cannot resolve this issue promptly. I am seeking assistance with accessing my account or obtaining contact information to address this problem before it escalates. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I submitted my benefits application three months ago and got approved for PUA from February [redacted] to December [redacted]. My application process began on March 22, [redacted]. The payment status displays pending on half and processing on the other half. I have completed my weekly claims and submitted all required documents. Due to the delay in payments, I am struggling with potential eviction and unable to afford my medical insurance or necessary medication. The prolonged wait for my payments is causing significant distress. I urgently need the funds deposited into the provided account. I have attempted to contact the support number ([redacted]) repeatedly, but only receive a message stating they are unable to take my call. Drawing on my experience as a former social worker in Washington state, I am requesting prompt professional assistance, preferably in the form of a phone call or direct deposit of my benefits. I am extremely frustrated with this situation and am seeking an immediate resolution. Best regards, Nancy T. [redacted]

In my work history since May [redacted], I have been employed as an enumerator for the [redacted] Census. Due to the impact of Covid-19, I previously filed a claim as our working hours were significantly reduced. Currently, there is a new development. My last day of work was on May 16, [redacted], after the "update leave" program concluded with no further assignments provided. On June 28, [redacted], I tested positive for Covid-19 at the Veterans Administration hospital in Seattle, and I am presently under quarantine at the DOM facility in the Veteran's hospital at American Lake. Considering my circumstances, I believe I am eligible for unemployment benefits and Covid relief assistance. Unfortunately, I do not have access to my SAW password. Upon my hospital visit, I was unprepared for an extended stay as I did not exhibit any Covid-like symptoms. If necessary, my contact number is [redacted]. I appreciate your attention to this matter.

I was furloughed by my employer, but my unemployment claim was denied. My employer even sent a letter to the unemployment office stating I am not required to look for a job. I haven't received any updates on my claim or any benefits. I have rent and medical bills that are overdue, and I'm struggling to keep up with payments. This is my first time seeking unemployment benefits, and if I made an error, I would appreciate assistance in resolving it. Thank you.

I successfully submitted a PUA claim. Unfortunately, I mistakenly submitted a regular claim shortly afterward due to a software interface issue. Consequently, my PUA claim is now inactive, while the erroneous regular claim is active and ineligible. Despite making numerous attempts over the past two months, I have been unable to reach anyone through your contact number. Kindly assist me in deleting the incorrect regular claim and reinstating my PUA claim promptly to ensure I receive the PUA funds for the last three months. This financial assistance is crucial for providing sustenance for my family.

Hello, I'm Shannon B. I filed for unemployment benefits in October [redacted] after losing my job at North Bend Motel where my boyfriend was the manager. I stopped the process due to receiving Social Security Supplemental Income. After getting a job at Travel Centers of America, I left in March [redacted] as a precaution for my roommate's health. I reapplied for unemployment but forgot my SAW account details. After struggling to reach a live person, I finally got approved but couldn't provide my bank details. Despite numerous attempts to contact them, I couldn't complete the process. I hope to resolve this issue soon by providing my bank information for direct deposit of my owed benefits.

I need assistance to ensure my claims are correctly processed for payment. I recently received payments for the last three weeks, but not for the weeks prior to that. When asked to re-file a claim with a different start date of February 2, I complied. However, I have not been able to file for those weeks or been provided with the option to do so. Initially, when filing for unemployment, I was unaware of the qualification criteria and randomly selected a date without knowing the correct start date for filing claims for previous weeks. I understand it's a busy time, but I would greatly appreciate speaking with someone to rectify this issue. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Amanda J.

I filled out the weekly claim for July, but there seems to be an issue with the availability questions regarding my work times. I am no longer on furlough as I have been terminated and my job was phased out due to RFI. My name is Anthony Robertson. If anyone can assist, please contact me at 1-[redacted]. Thank you.
