I recently reported two fraudulent charges totaling $[redacted].00 on my card, not including bank charges. The charges occurred on 10/24/[redacted] and 10/25/[redacted], including a $[redacted].00 charge and a balance inquiry charge of $0.50. After disputing the charges and waiting three weeks for a decision, I was informed that my funds would not be refunded. The process of waiting for a written response on their decision is frustrating. During the dispute, the representatives were rude to me, even suggesting I take my business elsewhere. This has been particularly difficult as I receive a monthly direct deposit of approximately $5,[redacted] into this account. Now, I must use the lock and unlock feature to protect my account. The financial hardship caused by these fraudulent charges has resulted in returned car insurance payments, cell phone bills, and rent. Despite the claim of FDIC insurance, I am disappointed in the lack of support from the company. I am now considering seeking legal assistance to resolve this matter.

I have been a Walmart Money Cardholder for years, but now facing difficulties accessing my account online. Due to not using my Yahoo email or having the same phone number from years ago, I can't log in. Despite providing my social security number, I'm unable to get the help needed from customer service. I am frustrated and upset as I have limited options if I can't update my account information. I used my card to make my sister's late house payment, but the card stopped working. I tried to make the payment over the phone but was informed the card needed to be canceled. I requested to expedite the new card and agreed to the fee. Despite being told it would arrive sooner, it didn't. After multiple calls, I found out my premier status didn't qualify for expedited service. The new card didn't work, leading to additional fees and complications in making the payment. The situation escalated, resulting in legal fees accumulating. The ordeal could have been avoided if I could have made an electronic payment as initially requested. I believe if I could have spoken to a supervisor earlier, this series of unfortunate events might have been prevented.

I need further assistance with my recent transaction issue involving my Walmart money card. I made a purchase for a motel room and was charged three times. My direct deposit did not appear in my account as expected, despite receiving notification on 11/6/[redacted] at 4:20 am that it had been processed and seeing the direct deposit statement from my employer. It seems to have gone into the wrong account. I have contacted various agencies involved but have not been able to obtain a TRACE# for tracking the payment. Dealing with customer service has been challenging as the language barrier has made it difficult to get clear information. This is a frustrating situation as I usually receive my direct deposits smoothly. I am facing unpaid bills and potential credit issues. I recently had unauthorized charges on my Walmart Money Card. After reporting it, they locked the card and sent a replacement. However, when trying to activate the new card, the verification code is sent via text, and my phone never receives texts from them. Even though I usually get codes via email, this option isn't available for activation. Trying to use my husband's phone instead, it said I exceeded attempts after only one try. I'm in a tough spot as a disabled person unable to pay bills with over $[redacted] in the card's vault.

I purchased a Walmart MoneyCard recently. I tried to activate it on my cell phone. After going through the process, it requested verification by sending a text message, but I never received the code. I am in the process of moving, and unfortunately, my phone and cards were stolen. The password for my Walmart Money Card account got changed, and I can't reset it without the 16-digit card number. My son, who has autism, is struggling to load this card for future use. I've already lost $5. Why can't it be cancelled? I am disappointed in the lack of business ethics. I wish the company would respond to customer inquiries. I will inform others about this experience and inquire at Walmart if they are aware of this practice.

Hello, my name is T.H. I've had a Walmart prepaid card for at least three years. Last month, I applied for a new card, which I received this past Tuesday. I activated it, but on Sunday when I tried to buy gas, it said there was no money on it. I went to a Walmart store, spent 45 minutes there, but the issue couldn't be resolved. I'm trying to assist my husband with an issue regarding his card replacement. He hasn't received the SMS codes to activate it, and both the online website and app are locked due to multiple attempts. We are waiting for an expedited call from the department that deals with unlocking accounts. He has never set up a login, so we are currently unable to access direct deposits, make withdrawals, or payments. Is it possible for him to transfer his money to his NetSpend account? My Walmart prepaid debit card was stolen and used at multiple locations. I notified the card company once I discovered the theft and also filed a report with the police. They have surveillance footage identifying the thief. However, Walmart has denied my claim three times despite being on my fourth claim now. Every time I call to check the status, I am told it will be denied again due to the lack of new details or documents. I've been dealing with this since August 18th, and it's now December 16th, and I am frustrated. I just want my money back as the card agreement clearly states it is FDIC protected, and I shouldn't be held responsible for unauthorized charges. Despite numerous calls, every interaction feels scripted, and I am unable to speak with a supervisor. The investigation department won't speak to me directly. The time, stress, and financial repercussions of this ordeal are overwhelming. I am at a loss for how to proceed or escalate this situation against the card company.

I am currently locked out of my Google account on my phone due to an issue at the phone store. As my husband is out of town, I am unable to log in because the device I am using is not recognized. They asked for my password, which I provided, but now they want to send a text to an old number. Additionally, my email is also locked for 5-7 days. I bought two Walmart Visa cards back on December 5, but I am frustrated because I still can't activate them. I have been unable to speak with anyone to resolve this issue. I want this problem fixed immediately because I don't want to purchase these cards again. As an employee of Walmart, I will make sure to warn all my customers about this. The card won't let me activate it and keeps asking for my Social Security number. The phone numbers provided to talk to a real person have been useless. I have been attempting to resolve this for several days now, with no success.

I transferred money to a PayPal account last night, but I was unable to complete the transaction today. I had to request a refund to my card. However, there seems to be a non-existent security issue causing a delay in the refund reflecting in my account. I have been unable to reach a live person at Walmart MoneyCard for assistance. I urgently need this refund as I am out of gas for my car.

I worked for a travel agency in [redacted] and set up a Walmart MoneyGram card for direct deposit in October. I misplaced my wallet and phone, resulting in me being unable to reset my PIN. Even though I received a new card with instructions to use the previous PIN, it's not working, showing as invalid. I made a mistake purchasing the wrong type of card. When I tried to activate it, they requested my SSN, which I'm not comfortable providing due to past identity theft incidents. They offered a temporary activation method, but if the submitted information doesn't match, the card won't be reissued once funds are used up. I provided information, but the birthdate I used makes me appear too young, preventing the card from being activated. I'm sorry this is so confusing. I loaded $[redacted].00 onto this card. Please assist me!
