Dear Sir*Madam*I visited your Southend-on-Sea branch on the *th September **** and as I had already purchased a sim card, I said I wanted your ‘Pay as you go’ as the phone was only going to be used when in our Holiday home, (we have trouble with the signal using our smart phones). I had already researched you tariffs and deals on your web site. I took a print out of your ‘Pay as you go’ details and checked with the assistant that this is what I would get, and he confirmed that I was.*I paid £** and it was credited to the phone, we used it a few times while we were away. As we will be going again soon I went into the same shop, on the **rd (yesterday) and topped up with another £**. It was only when the assistant told me that there was only that £** credit I looked into the matter and discovered that I was not on the ‘Pay as you go’ but on the ‘pay as you go bundle’.*The phone we use is only *g and we don’t use data on it so I wouldn’t have chosen that plan.*I have also tried to open an account so I can top up without going to the shop, but each time I put in the phone number, I’m asked to put a Vodafone in, why isn’t it accepting my number.*I hope you will look into this and put me on the ‘Pay as you go’ as requested and recredit the money I have lost due to the error on Vodafone part to the ‘Pay as you go’ plan I initially requested.*Yours truly*Jack A Smith

I finally managed to 'live chat' with vodafone, the agent was extremely helpful and helped me sort the problem out, it was an error on the sales assistants part.
