Redeem the free tech pack offered by Vodafone. ... I have been a Vodafone customer for years (my husband also). We recently also changed over to Vodafone for our broadband. Vodafone had a promotion linked to this whereby a free amazon echo dot and firestick were offered for changing providers. As promised, a couple of weeks following our change of provider I received an e-mail from Vodafone with a direct link to Amazon and a "unique promotional code" . This was to claim my free tech pack, as above. I followed the instructions however, when I clicked on the link and entered the code as asked to do, I was promptly charged £**.** by Amazon! So much for the free goods!! I would like an explanation and a reimbursement of the amount I am now out of pocket. I have saved the Vodafone e-mail regarding how to claim my free tech pack. It has been almost impossible to find a link online to contact Vodafone and when I dial *** it hangs up on me!
Vodafone can reimburse me for the amount I am out of pocket (£**.**). This is false advertising and my next course of action will be to the Ombudsman.
I have been a customer on and off since **** (I was in Australia during the gaps where I was also with Vodafone for many years)
I have attempted to contact Vodafone numerous times. If I actually manage to speak to a human being they tell me they have no idea what I am talking about
