I was due for a upgrade today. I spoke to upgrade consultant over the phone which gave me a package i was satisfied with. i then received a sms confirming my order for deliver as well as a subscription amount that did not correspond with the amount i agreed to. i phoned customercare and i was treated so poorly. the consultant could assist me because the system was down. i then spoke to a team leader who informed it was because my contract did not expire therefore i was going to pay for my existing handset as well as my new one. which is so ridiculous. why inform me to upgrade if this is the case. i have never paid for * handsets in the past when i upgraded. i would'nt have been able to afford it. i informed the team leader i will cancel my contract when it expires and move to a different service provider. there was no apology or no effort to keep as a customer from vodacom which i find is extremely dissapointing as ive been a long standing customer.
GetHuman-daneel did not yet indicate what Vodacom should do to make this right.
