VIRGIN FLIGHT: FBA ****BOOKING REFERENCE: ******* VS **** ******** GATWICK TO MONTEGO BAY* VS **** ******** MONTEGO BAY TO LONDON GATWICK*BOOKING AGENCY: SACKVILLE TRAVEL**TOTAL PAID: £****.****Dear Complaints, **I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with Virgin Airlines and the refund procedures.*My flight was due to leave for Jamaica for * weeks however this was cancelled due to the pandemic. *I was sent an email by my booking agency detailing the process on how long we would have to wait under the unprecedented circumstances.*Explanation as below from the agency*All refunds will now have to be applied in a two prong process via IATA's Billing Settlement Plan which relies on the airline providing authorisation for our request and this may take up to ** weeks. **The ** weeks have now expired and the booking agency has received no response regarding my refund. I would like to know what your delay is and why information has not been forthcoming**I have flown with Virgin on numerous occasions, however if this is how you treat your customers, it may be the last time that I fly with you.**Can you confirm by return of email when my refund will be settled and what stage the two prong process is currently at!*To date i have received no response.
This is especially frustating because i have waited on there timeline and yet have received no payment.
