1. I encountered an issue with my Viking wall oven after running the self-cleaning cycle; the door got stuck, and the control panel with the clock is now unresponsive. I am hesitant to use the self-clean function again in fear of the oven locking up once more. 2. My Viking dishwasher has been a continuous source of trouble over the years. It has required multiple repairs and even a replacement. 3. The Viking refrigerator has stopped cooling on one side, rendering it unusable for over a month now. Despite multiple attempts by ATS (the sole repair company in Tucson) to fix it over the past month, the issue still persists. The repair technician is scheduled to revisit today for the fifth time. These recurring problems with our Viking appliances are incredibly frustrating. 4. The ice maker in my ten-year-old Viking appliance has stopped working. Is this considered normal wear and tear? It is disappointing to continuously encounter issues with different Viking products.

I purchased a Viking Freestanding Dual Fuel Range (VDSC305-4BSS) in [redacted] and recently encountered issues with the lower oven heating element and upper broiler heating element not functioning properly. Despite troubleshooting steps taken, including checking the electrical panel and examining the control board for any visible damage, the problem persists. I am seeking advice on potential causes, whether to replace the control board, availability and cost of a replacement part (PE [redacted]), and instructions on replacing the control board if recommended. Additionally, I would appreciate recommendations for authorized Viking Range service providers in my area (Zip Code [redacted]). Thank you. - Ron M.

Good Morning, approximately six years ago, I bought a complete 4-piece Viking package for my kitchen during a remodel. I am having an issue with the hood/microwave unit. I am surprised to see it is still being sold because it doesn't seem to withstand the heat and steam from the cooktop below. The stainless steel veneer has delaminated due to the steam from the pots and pans, and the silver push buttons are now jammed. This deterioration happened gradually over a two-year period, and it looks quite unsightly in an otherwise lovely kitchen. The stainless push-to-open door veneer was the first to fall off, followed by the lower door veneer, then the left side stainless veneer, and finally the button jams. I suspect I am not the only one experiencing this issue and feel disappointed in my purchase. I rarely use the unit as I live alone and mostly use it as a hood ventilator for my usual stovetop cooking. I hope you can suggest a solution to help resolve this situation, as I would prefer to continue supporting Viking. Cheers, -Ken

I bought all Viking appliances for my kitchen remodel, and it's been a disappointment. The dishwasher, refrigerator, and stove have all had issues. The finish on the stove is peeling, and the freezer keeps backing up and leaking water, causing damage to my cabinets and floor monthly. Even the refrigerator had to be replaced due to a defective seal and mold. I recently found out these are ASCO appliances, not Viking, which is frustrating given the high cost. I would like a factory representative to inspect these appliances.

Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to express my disappointment with my double Viking ovens. I purchased them several years ago but, being over 65 and living alone, I only use them occasionally. Recently, both ovens failed to heat properly. After a visit from a local repair service, it was determined that both "boards" needed replacement. The repairman had to consult with a Viking service representative who mentioned never having seen this issue before. I expected better performance from these top-notch ovens given their limited use. I have incurred $[redacted] in repair costs and am concerned if I have a defective model or if there is a manufacturing problem. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Unfortunately, I am unable to attach my service receipt but the total fee was $[redacted].01. Sincerely, Karen Hillenmeyer [redacted] Long Pond Walk Lexington, KY [redacted] W [redacted] Cell [redacted]

We purchased a Viking range top, an ice maker, a dishwasher, and a French door oven which were delivered and installed in early October. Unfortunately, the doors on all the appliances were damaged upon arrival. It is now December and the dishwasher has never worked, with service being non-existent. In contrast, our Wolf refrigerator has given us no problems. I would not recommend any Viking appliances and regret not choosing Wolf products from the beginning. The Viking appliances have proven to be disappointing and not worth the investment.

During our kitchen renovation 19 years ago, I invested in Viking appliances Designer series - an oven, cooktop, and warming drawer. The oven and cooktop have had numerous repairs since being installed in [redacted], culminating in spending close to $[redacted]. The latest issue is the malfunctioning self-cleaning function on the double wall oven, which requires another costly service visit. A major annoyance is that the settings dials' letters/numbers have worn off, making it challenging to set accurate temperatures without relying on memory. This lack of durability for such expensive appliances is disappointing. Seeking a resolution for these ongoing problems, I'm providing the model numbers for reference: Wall oven - DESO101SS Cooktop - DECU1054BSB Sincerely, B. Beers
