My reservation for the return flight is on hold. He will be in the hospital for at least another week. Qantas assures me that the flight will be rebooked with out a penalty when my husband is able to travel. How do I book that flight?

I need how to rebook his return flight and Qantas assures me that my reservation is "ON HOLD" with a CREDIT and can be rebooked when he is able to travel. They do not anticipate a "change fee" because it is a medical emergency. Please advise how to make this reservation. Qantas has suggested that you call your contact number to get their help if needed. ... My husband flew to Australia on Quantas Air on November *. *Patrick Matthew Lott*VUS-********He is scheduled to return on Quantas QF** on Thursday, November ** connecting to QF**** from San Francisco to Phoenix, AZ*He was just admitted to a hospital with an infection of his leg (he is an amputee) for IV antibiotics. I don't know how many days he will be in the hospital.*My questions today are:**. What sort of medical documentation do you need. I can contact his MD for this information as needed.**. At this point I do not know how many days he will be hospitalized but is their availability Saturday, Sunday or Monday?
