Collections called regarding unpaid fees from September ****. Since the rental I never received any phone calls, emails, or mail regarding an outstanding balance. The experience was a disaster from the get go. We showed up to pick up truck as agreed, to find no trucks and the office closed! We finally tracked a truck using another distributer and had to travel around **km to pick it up, losing over half a day. Left credit card info etc as per procedure but returned truck to different location. I have used u-haul several times and am definitely in the system. Reviewing E-mails, I did not receive the e-receipt which is customary. Collections said I also accrued fees for using three dollies which I definitely did not need or use. Where we picked up the truck they even forgot my licence info and had to catch up with me ** km down the road. I had no idea I owed more than discussed and would definitely have looked after it if reasonable. I did expect a time and mileage allowance because of the whole ordeal. This needs fixed today! I have a credit score I am very protective of and I feel victimized further by u-hauls sloppy system and indifferent agents.
