I am **. Under pressure from fans I agreed to release a track. It is my only track ever released in ** years. It will almost certainly be me last. *Unfortunately, despite taking ** years, * months and * days to record at a cost of over £******, Tunecore censored the artwork immediately. **It appears that my one off performance in ** years is forbidden to mention the commemoration date. I had the words, August **th **** Commemorative Issue. **Can you please confirm that this commemorative track is censored for mentioning it’s own commemoration?**May I ask if concert releases of live work are also date censored as there is much of my work that is live, from the ****s. Are live albums*tracks only permitted if we do not disclose when they took place, too. **We do, of course, have no wish to break rules and have therefore had another page of artwork prepared, despite our sadness in being censored from being forbidden to mentioning a very important historic release date, which I must confess, seems very confusing indeed. **Our new artwork has hopefully obliged and respected the rules in as much as we have very sadly accepted that we must never mention any, “Specific,” date, even on a **th year commemoration release, as ordered to by Tunecore. However, being as the, “‘Specific,” date is now removed for you we trust that mentioning the year, ****, will not continue to offend the censor . **Can you please advise us as to how we should present it to you as soon as possible so that we may either progress or withdraw. Being an artist you will excuse me if I suggest that I struggle a little with censorship, perhaps as I spent the ****s standing up and fighting censorship especially with music business people enforcing it in artwork of any kind. * *The now censored specific date of our **th commemoration should make you happy. We are ready to present it to you, despite being saddened by this strange criteria. **Please could you direct us as to what we do now as there appear to be no instructions to help me*us? **With kind regards,**Michael Wakeford*(Scotland)**Highly Confidential:*M. Wakeford is Aka: Michael Corby - The founder, guitar keyboard player*composer of the original British rock band* *“The Babys”*(Feb **** - **th August ****) **NOTE* *The offending date that was printed as our Commemoration date was the exact date of the intended release. It was not any date in the future. *There was no intention to either offend or profit from the commemoration, nor it’s date. *I am now ceasing all and any promotion of the product and there will now be no further live work now press to assist sales.**In recognition of censorship, I have decided to remain removed from the music world. I should like to release the track quietly and just leave it at that. *Many thanks. - Please advise. *We will endeavour to comply, accordingly.
