I received a Tropical Smoothie Cafe coupon via email on my home computer, but not on my phone. To use the coupon, I took a picture of the offer with my cell phone. However, when I showed the picture at the Tropical Smoothie Cafe, the staff refused to honor it. They insisted I either pull up the email offer on my phone or present a hard copy. Despite explaining that I didn't receive emails on my phone and that the offer only required presenting the email coupon code, the manager of the day declined to accept it. The offer, with code [redacted], was valid until June 10, [redacted], which is when I attempted to redeem it at the Richmond, VA location on [redacted] West Broad St. Unfortunately, the picture did not display properly for them. The offer required purchasing a full-priced Cuban or Chicken Caprese Pressed Sandwich to receive a smoothie for $1.99 in the same transaction, and could only be used at participating cafes.

I really enjoy your smoothies and wraps and usually make the drive from work every week to indulge. Today, when I visited the store without using the app, I encountered a problem. After waiting in line for 12 minutes, I was informed that they were out of chicken. Since I primarily eat chicken and there was no sign indicating this, I was disappointed. When I politely suggested to the cashier that a sign be displayed to inform customers, she defensively dismissed my feedback and was quite rude. She didn't even give me a receipt. After a while, another staff member came out and provided me with a receipt lacking a survey code. I felt the situation could have been handled more professionally and am disappointed by the experience.

The consistency of a smoothie should not be so frozen that it's difficult to drink through a straw without waiting for it to melt. When it comes to the Ultimate Club sandwich, clarity is key - customers should know if it's meant to be served warm or cold. The bread should not be overly hard and inedible. My experiences primarily relate to the Tropical Smoothie location near my home. Unfortunately, the issues I've mentioned are not isolated incidents but occur frequently based on the staff working at the time. Today's visit was particularly disappointing, prompting me to share this feedback. While I used to be a daily, sometimes twice daily, customer at "my" Tropical Smoothie until about a year ago, my visits have decreased to monthly. Finding a well-made smoothie and sandwich has become a rare occurrence, which is disappointing.

I ordered a Caribbean Jerk wrap and an Island Green smoothie at the drive-thru. Unfortunately, the employees took a while to give me my order and even forgot about my smoothie. I overheard them playing around and yelling while waiting. Ultimately, I had to go inside to get my smoothie. When I finally got my order and took the first bite, I noticed that they forgot to include the sauce in my wrap.

Hello, my name is Theodore Ash. On June 18th, I visited Tropical Cafe to buy a Caribbean jerk wrap and an acai berry boost. The cashier gave me a receipt for $27.00. After returning the receipt to her, she acknowledged the mistake but was unable to process a refund at that moment. The manager of the store, Cafe NC044, was involved, and I ended up buying the items again for $12.18. Despite checking my account regularly, I did not see any refund deposited. About a week later, I spoke with the manager again, who mentioned that the IT Department was investigating the issue. They promised to contact me but unfortunately, I have not received any updates. I called on July 11th and July 13th without success. I have been patient, but I prefer a refund to be credited back to my account rather than receiving a gift card. I have receipts for both transactions totaling $39.18. Thank you, Theodore Ash

I contacted the local Tropical Smoothie in Greenville regarding delivery charges. I was directed to order through the app. After placing the order, I called to confirm receipt. To my surprise, they informed me that my order could not be delivered and had to be picked up. Despite being charged for delivery on the app, the staff explained it was a mistake. Requesting to speak with the unavailable manager, I eventually had to collect the order myself. I requested the removal of the delivery fees, but was unsuccessful. Upon receiving the order, it was disappointing to find the food cold and the smoothies melting. I am seeking a full refund or at least the removal of the delivery charges due to the inconvenience of having to pick up the order myself.

I just had an uncomfortable phone call after being promised a Tropical Smoothie gift card worth up to $[redacted]. I was informed that I would only find out the value of the gift card once I listened to a presentation about a condo in Williamsburg, VA. This tactic reminded me of a similar experience I had years ago in Williamsburg, where high-pressure tactics were also used. Despite my clear refusals, they persisted in trying to push the sales pitch on me. I eventually had to hang up as it seemed like an endless cycle. I am disappointed that Tropical Smoothie is involved in this. Is this a scam? Can I still receive the gift card promised to me without participating in their sales pitch? Thank you. S. M. N. I placed an order today around 5 p.m., but unfortunately, the young man took my order incorrectly. When I asked the girl preparing the food if my items were included before leaving, she assured me they were. However, upon arriving home, one of my sandwiches contained pork, one was missing, and my smoothie was incorrect. Upon returning to the store to address the issue, they only remade one sandwich and the smoothie. I inquired about the missing sandwich, and the staff member insisted it was made correctly, even though it contained pork which I do not eat. After a confrontational interaction where the staff member spoke negatively about me to her colleague, I insisted on receiving the correct items. The situation escalated, with her threatening to involve the police. I have a video recording of the incident, but I am unable to upload it. The store is located in Sicklerville, NJ [redacted].

I visited the store in Lake Buena Vista, Florida and attempted to scan my rewards number. The staff mentioned the system was down and advised me to enter it online later with the receipt. Unfortunately, the receipt did not have a QR code as it was cut off. When I called the store, they informed me that the manager would not be available until next Tuesday and was unlikely to assist, suggesting not to contact them. I am in search of a solution to add my purchase to my loyalty account.
