I was just watching your TV station, and you were talking about the snow in Boston with just one or two inches, showing grass. Then you mentioned another three to five inches coming. If you want a real storm story, come to Gwinn, Michigan. We have 18 inches here, a true winter storm. East coast and California seem to be the focus, but Michigan has the most snow in the country. The Weather Channel should showcase the Great Lakes snow more. Stop focusing on the East Coast and California; come see a real winter storm here in Gwinn, Michigan. The attention you give elsewhere is frustrating; Michigan's snowfall deserves recognition too.

Jim Cantore showcased two lovely snow photos, one from North Chili, NY. Interestingly, he pronounced "Chili" like the food, but locals say "Chi-lie." Having lived there most of my life, I've noticed this mispronunciation a few times in the past years when they show photos from the area. It always makes me chuckle. I thought of passing this bit of information to him. Feel free to contact me if necessary at [redacted]. Thank you, Cheryl Tate.

I recently had a free trial subscription to The Weather Channel on my Android phone. Without realizing it was only a trial, I was charged over $10 yesterday, causing an overdraft in my checking account. I would like to request the cancellation of the subscription and a refund as soon as possible, as I am unable to afford it at the moment. Please advise on the necessary steps to address this issue promptly. You can contact me via email at [redacted] or leave a message if I am unavailable by phone. Thank you for your understanding and assistance. Sincerely, Jayme N.

On Wednesday, December 18, [redacted], around 7:55 a.m., I saw on the Weather Channel a clip showing a police officer having a fun snowball fight with kids near a car. The commentator remarked positively, "That's nice. It looks like the kids might have won there." JIM CANTORE added, "Yeah, that doesn't always happen around the men in blue." As a senior who doesn't use social media, I am upset by the suggestion that police officers are not kind or playful. How can I express my disappointment to the administration about using such a platform to criticize law enforcement, when they do so many wonderful things?

I am disappointed with the outfit the woman is wearing on this channel today. Her top is too revealing, and it is disrespectful towards viewers who prefer not to see that. It seems like her appearance is being prioritized over professionalism. Although I enjoy watching the weather channel, I find this unacceptable. It is currently 10:18 AM in Houston, Mississippi, and I had to express my concerns about this matter. Please consider addressing this issue. Thank you.

I am involved in production agriculture and watch The Weather Channel daily. This morning, around 8:50 AM CT on January 2, [redacted], the reporter provided incorrect information about plant-based meat substitutes. It is important to ensure accuracy before sharing biased information. Personal matters, such as Abrams being a vegetarian, should not influence the forecasts as it can impact markets. Looking forward to watching The Weather Channel for accurate weather updates. Let's focus on weather forecasting without personal opinions. Thank you for considering this feedback. I follow many of you on social media - Jerome Settles from Hoskins, Nebraska. Thank you.

I would appreciate seeing various options for sending an email message. I enjoy the diverse content, including informative weather updates and intellectually stimulating shows on the website. While filling out the form, I am directed to specify my concern or provide additional details. I simply want to acknowledge the valuable programming available to listeners. It would be great to have more episodes of "Why Planes Crash" and similar shows. The creators should consider producing more content like this. I believe it is important to address aviation topics influenced by climate change and technology with credible information. There are many other fascinating shows about our planet that I could mention. Additionally, I suggest adjusting the schedule to accommodate a broader audience without compromising quality. I understand the importance of viewership, but I encourage you to continue the excellent work you are doing. Thank you.

I upgraded to the PREMIUM WEATHER CHANNEL APP for $9.99 on January 11th, but I am still only getting the free version with ads, missing features like layers and 15-minute forecasts, and none of the extras I paid for. I have not received any responses to my emails. I posted a one-star rating and noticed similar complaints from other customers. I demand either what I paid for or a full refund of $9.99. It is unacceptable to take money and not deliver the promised services. Please rectify this situation. Thank you.

The severe weather warnings are unprofessional on live television. The exaggerated behavior makes it hard to take the alerts seriously. Please provide reliable weather reports without the unnecessary drama. People rely on accurate information, not sensationalized content. It's important to be trustworthy and informative for the viewers. Your repeated responses do not address the genuine concern about how the warnings are presented. Just a reminder, honesty is valued more than the theatrics.

I recently bought the premium version of the app, but unfortunately, I haven't noticed any difference in functionality. The premium features, such as the wind stream setting, the 15-minute forecast for seven hours, and the lightning strike feature, are not working as expected. Every time I attempt to activate the wind stream setting, it redirects me to the "purchase the premium" screen. I did receive a payment receipt from Apple with Order #MS29GDX96T. I have attempted to reach out to customer support at the Weather Channel for assistance, but my calls have gone unanswered. I would appreciate it if someone could provide guidance on resolving these issues.

I have Spectrum Internet service and own a Samsung smart TV. I recently downloaded the Weather Channel app on my smart TV but encountered an issue. Even though my smart TV settings are correct and my IP address is accurate for my location in Minnesota, the Weather Channel app displays North Carolina's weather. I spent two hours troubleshooting this morning with TV and ISP support without resolution. Frustrated with the response that no action can be taken until future updates rectify the problem.

I don't have any issues, I enjoy my mornings with a cup of coffee and watching the weather channel with Jen, Steph, Jim Cantore, and the crew. The other day, the girls were discussing the slow windshield wipers, and I just wanted to mention Rain X. This product has been my go-to for years. I remember a heavy downpour in Florida (I'm in Western NY now), and while everyone pulled over, I didn't even realize my wipers were off. Once I figured it out, using Rain X made it feel like looking through clear glass. I've been using it ever since. Thanks for letting me share!

In the past 30 days, the Weather Channel has halted live tornado outbreak coverage on two occasions, replacing it with "Heavy Rescue" or other entertainment shows. This switch occurred during nighttime tornado outbreaks (8-9pm), the most hazardous times. Such a move is deemed irresponsible as affected areas might lose access to local stations and critical information. It's crucial to provide continuous live coverage during severe weather events to ensure all citizens, including older and rural residents without reliable internet, are informed and safe. The Weather Channel should prioritize its duty to inform and safeguard lives at all times. Thank you.

I miss the convenience of receiving timely local weather updates on the 8s. As a homebound senior, these reports were integral to staying informed about the weather in my area and neighboring regions. I suggest focusing on delivering essential weather information rather than a comprehensive weather education. If I desired in-depth knowledge, I would pursue formal education or research independently. My priority is to be updated on current weather that directly impacts people's safety and to know what to anticipate in the near future. Thank you for taking my feedback into account. Wishing you a pleasant weather report!

I miss the Weather on the 8's. As a senior who is homebound, I rely on The Weather Channel for updates on local weather and surrounding areas. Please bring back Local On The 8's. I prefer more focus on reporting local weather than trying to educate viewers on weather patterns. I hope to see changes soon with the return of Local On The 8's. I also believe that professionals, especially women, should dress more appropriately on TV with sleeves and avoid revealing attire. Thank you for taking my feedback into consideration. Wishing everyone a happy weather day!

Living in Florida, I often face disagreements with my husband during hurricanes. He doesn't see the need to bring in our potted plants, causing me anxiety. I would appreciate some clear guidelines on when to bring in the plants during severe weather. Perhaps specific wind speeds or a chart with Categories and recommendations would be helpful. Additionally, I have a porch with a lot of outdoor furniture that my husband also refuses to bring inside. As climate change leads to stronger hurricanes, I worry about the safety of our belongings. It would be great if The Weather Channel could send me these guidelines via email at [redacted] Thank you for your help. - Cynthia Greenwald

The US Virgin Islands often receive less attention compared to Puerto Rico when it comes to predicting the impact of storms. Despite being smaller and consisting of three islands, the potential devastation could be even greater. It's crucial to give equal focus to both regions unless one is significantly more affected. This concern is not just for residents on the islands but also for the thousands of Virgin Islanders living on the US mainland who rely on accurate information. During hurricanes like Irma and Maria, Puerto Rico tends to dominate the news, leaving many unaware of the challenges faced by the USVI. The lack of coverage can lead to misunderstandings and hinder vital aid and support during crises. It's essential to address this issue to ensure all affected areas receive the attention and assistance they require.

I have a concern with the pronunciation of the name Isaias. Changing the last letter to an 'h' transforms it into "Isaiah." Most people are familiar with how "Isaiah" is pronounced due to church or biblical references. However, the name Isaias, spelled with an 's' at the end, should have the same pronunciation as "Isaiah," just with an 's' instead of 'h'. Unfortunately, the way the name is being pronounced on air seems inaccurate and misleading. The mispronunciation is causing frustration as it deviates from the correct way we have known the name to be pronounced. It is crucial to maintain accuracy, especially with common names used in religious contexts. I urge the Weather Channel to address this issue and ensure proper pronunciation to uphold their reporting credibility.

Hello, I'm Christa Pellicci from Stamford, CT, and I am a fan of the talented British actor, Henry Cavill. While watching my local weather channel at 5:30 pm, a meteorologist mentioned she thinks Henry Cavill likes her. However, I want to clarify that Henry doesn't know her and the feelings are not mutual. I want to emphasize that I am simply a fan and not in a relationship with him. Likewise, the actor Paul Rudd is also just an actor I admire, not someone I have a personal connection with. It's essential to remember that social media personas may not reflect the real individuals. As a passionate supporter of law enforcement, I may organize an anti-bullying rally on September 3rd, [redacted], at Scalzi Park in Stamford, CT, to address these issues. Kindly, Christa Pellicci
