The delivery service is extremely poor. The carrier throws the newspapers wherever they want, and we only receive our newspaper after 8:30 every day. I am supposed to have the newspaper by 7 PM at the latest. This issue has persisted for years, and despite multiple complaints, it remains unresolved. It is frustrating to be treated this way as a customer of over 40 years. I have rheumatoid arthritis and struggle with stiffness in the mornings. Despite asking the carrier numerous times to place the paper on my top step, it is often found in the bushes, on the grass, or even in the street. The paper is never delivered before I leave for work, so I don't get to read it. I simply expect the carrier to do their job. I am considering reaching out to Channel 7 News - Solve it at 7 for assistance with this ongoing issue. Thank you for listening.

Hi, I have been a victim of extreme harassment. I am facing severe physical damage, including my teeth being ruined, hearing loss, eye damage, and muscle deterioration. I am feeling forced to undergo changes I do not want. My family seems to support this unwanted transformation. I am also struggling with financial issues due to the situation worsening. The constant weight fluctuations lead to more distress and loneliness. I feel trapped and isolated, unable to have a normal life. This experience is unbearable, and I am reaching out for help. Please understand this is a serious situation for me. Feel free to contact me at [redacted]. Thank you. You can see photos at elizabethkullewilliams. Best, Elizabeth

On Friday, August 16, [redacted], while boarding the red line train bound for Alewife from Park Street in car #[redacted], the train doors closed on me, causing a bruise on my arm. As a person with disabilities (Multiple Sclerosis and Fibromyalgia), this incident exacerbated my existing back pain. The train was crowded, and I felt embarrassed as I think I yelped in pain. Fortunately, my iced coffee spilled on my chest, alleviating the pain slightly. This experience adds to my frustration with the T, given a similar incident I faced years ago on the green line. I wish I could afford legal action against them, as this incident not only caused injury but also hindered my ability to care for my mother this weekend.

I reside at [redacted] Dedham Blvd in Dedham, MA. I have not received my newspaper on the following dates: 8/31, 9/3, 9/7, 9/8, and 9/9. If the deliveries do not resume promptly, I would like to cancel my subscription. It is frustrating to wait for my paper only to find the store sold out when I arrive. I am weary of repeatedly reporting this issue to you. You should be aware if a bundle of papers for a particular route was not delivered. Having a delivery service without reliable delivery defeats the purpose. This is not an isolated incident; it was problematic a few months ago and has resurfaced. The service is subpar. Kindly confirm the credited days and provide insight into the ongoing situation and how you plan to address it.

Hello, I am experiencing significant issues with my newspaper delivery. My name is Barry J. Mullen, and I reside at 55 St. Marks Road, Dorchester, MA. Over the past two months, there have been consistent errors with the delivery service. Today's delivery blunder included receiving yesterday's paper on a Tuesday instead of Monday. Previous problems involved missing Sunday papers or finding them thrown in the driveway at the back of the house. Last Sunday, the paper arrived close to noon. This decline in service is disappointing, especially during a difficult time as I recently lost a friend and needed the paper for the obituary. I am scheduled for heart surgery this Friday and do not need this added stress. Typically, we show appreciation for the delivery person with a Christmas gift, but this year's service concerns may impact that decision. Thank you, Barry J. Mullen

Hello, I need to report a significant issue with my delivery service. My name is Barry Mullen, and I reside at 55 St. Marks Road, Dorchester, MA. Over the last two months, there have been continuous errors with my deliveries. Today's mistake was especially frustrating as I received yesterday's paper instead of today's. This recurring problem includes missing papers, incorrect delivery days, and papers being haphazardly thrown in my driveway. The timing couldn't have been worse as I needed the paper today to check for an obituary of a recently deceased friend. The decline in service has been disheartening, especially as I face upcoming heart surgery. The added stress from these delivery issues is unwelcome at this time. I kindly request that you investigate and resolve this ongoing problem promptly. In the past, I have generously tipped the driver during the holidays, but this year's service concerns may impact that decision. Sincerely, Barry J Mullen

Dear Sir or Madam, On September 23, I accepted your offer of $1.23 for four months of subscription. Initially, I was informed that it would take a few days for my subscription to activate. However, after a couple of weeks with no access, I reached out by phone. It was challenging to get assistance, but eventually, I spoke with a lady who mentioned that my account was closed. She assured me she would resolve it and follow up, but I never heard back. I called yesterday, and although the lady promised to investigate, I still have not received any updates. Despite my loyalty as a former employee of the Herald's Engraving Department for 23 years, I am disappointed with the current state of customer service. If you are unable to provide the service, please refund my $1.23. Thank you, John B., account #[redacted]

I have attempted to cancel my newspaper subscription twice. Despite writing "CANCEL" across each invoice I received, the paper continues to be delivered. My husband, who has Alzheimer's disease, is no longer interested in reading. I am seeking to stop the delivery of the paper promptly. Corinne B. [redacted] Mistic Dr. Marstons Mills, MA

I am in need of assistance. My name is Dianne Cooke and I am from Australia. I reside at 29 Santiago Place, Seven Hills [redacted], New South Wales, Australia. I reached out to the Boston Police seeking help, but they only provided me with a dispatch number that I am unable to call from my phone. For the past 58 years, I have been corresponding with my pen friend, Susan Schroepfer, who lives at Apt. 1, 40 Presidential Drive, Quincy. I haven't received an email from her in over a month, and I am concerned, especially since Susan has only one leg and lives alone. I do not know how to reach out to any of her relatives or friends and I am feeling very anxious about her well-being. I appreciate any assistance you can provide. You can contact me at [redacted] Thank you for considering my message. Dianne Cooke.

For the past few months, I've had an excellent carrier. They consistently left the paper on my doorknob every day without fail. However, about a week ago, I only received the paper once, last Thursday, and it was left on the ground. I will not be paying for the missed deliveries, so please do not bill me for last week. I am concerned about the current carrier situation and would appreciate if you could address this issue promptly. Thank you. - Ron H. from 88 Gordon Rd, East Braintree

I am writing on behalf of Francis V., a loyal subscriber of your newspaper for many decades. Unfortunately, he did not receive his Sunday paper on July 18, [redacted], while his neighbor in Apt [redacted] did. As his live-in caregiver and daughter, I handle all his bills and concerns, including the newspaper subscription. Despite our efforts calling the 1-[redacted] number four times, we couldn't reach anyone due to weekend limitations. To avoid this issue in the future, please provide us with the contact information of the delivery person. Dealing with automated phone systems daily is challenging for us, especially considering his hearing difficulties. I am Linda C., residing at the same address, and you can reach me at [redacted]. Francis V.'s home phone is [redacted]. Your prompt assistance in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated.

I have been a loyal subscriber for over two decades and have been a reader for 40 years. At 75 years old and battling cancer, I find it challenging to walk. Unfortunately, the delivery service for the past two years has been disappointing. The paper is often tossed haphazardly, making it a mystery where I will find it, if at all. Despite paying $[redacted].00 annually, there is always a missing day. The only predictable delivery is the monthly envelope for the tip. It's frustrating, and I am considering canceling the service. The sentimental value of the paper, given to me by my late wife, keeps me subscribed in her memory, but this consistency issue is testing my patience. Regards, John A MacKay, 27 Tolman Street, Sharon, Massachusetts. Phone: 1 [redacted]. Prefer communication via phone; however, my son's email is available for correspondence.

I have been a loyal Herald delivery customer for years without many problems, but the last six months have been quite troublesome. In November, I informed the appropriate department that I would be away for the first three weeks of December and requested a hold on the delivery. Despite this, I had to contact them three times because the paper was still being delivered, causing a security risk with papers piling up in the driveway. Since January, there have been instances where papers weren't delivered and many times they were damaged by rain due to improper bagging by the delivery person, despite rain being forecasted the night before. This happened again today. I always made sure to give a tip when an envelope was left with the paper. Today, as usual, we had to lay out the paper on the dining table to dry in hopes of reading it later. I hope this message provides enough detail for you to address these ongoing issues.

My name is John Joyce. I stopped the herald about a month ago for small reasons such as the print being too low for me to read. I've been receiving delivery for many years. I received a call a few days ago asking why I canceled, and I explained to the gentleman the reason. He mentioned I was paying too much, and he had a deal to lower the cost by $1 a day. I requested him to mail me a proposal and call me back or I would contact him. When I woke up this morning, the paper was on my lawn, but I did not request a new delivery. My address is 36 Ralph Stubbs Rd, Randolph Mass. [redacted]. I typically ask for the paper to be placed at my doorstep, not on the lawn, driveway, or sidewalk. If this can be accommodated, I will restart the paper delivery. For now, please DO NOT DELIVER. I have the clerk at the store hold my paper for me. Thank you for your service. Mr. Joyce
