I attempted to create a login to apply for unemployment benefits but encountered an issue stating my SSN is linked to another account. I have tried calling the TWC over 4,[redacted] times without success. I filed for unemployment over 7 years ago and no longer have access to the email associated with that account. I urgently need to update my email on file to proceed with filing for unemployment online.

After being furloughed due to Covid-19, I applied for unemployment benefits. However, there was an error in my claim, and I was transferred to another representative. After a few days of struggling to reach them, the second person assured me that the issue was resolved. My first payment request went smoothly, but I mistakenly requested the next payment on the wrong week and it was denied. As a result, I haven't received any money for the last two weeks of April and the first two weeks of May. Upon checking the website, I discovered there are two claims listed, one for disaster assistance and one for regular assistance, though I only applied for disaster assistance. The denial of the regular claim is based on incorrect information stating I didn't earn any money in [redacted], which is inaccurate as I was employed throughout the year. I've attempted to contact TWC numerous times to rectify this issue and receive my overdue payments without success, leaving me in a difficult situation unable to cover my bills.

I recently experienced a situation with my unemployment benefits. After initially being disqualified, I was eventually approved. However, when I requested my payments, I was denied. I am currently 8 1/2 months pregnant and under doctor's orders not to work. I am confused about the denial and would appreciate guidance on how to address it. I am looking to speak with someone at the Texas Workforce Commission for further assistance on this matter. I am seeking clarification on why my payment request was rejected and how I can resolve this issue.

I recently applied for unemployment benefits and was approved; however, I encountered an issue when trying to request payment. Every time I attempt to do so, I am redirected to a page prompting me to contact the "tele-center." I have diligently tried calling numerous times a day for the past three weeks, but have only reached a recording. Now, the Texas Workforce Commission website is indicating that because I waited three weeks, I must now reapply for benefits. I have attempted to reapply, but I am unable to progress past the initial questions before being instructed to call the tele-center. This situation has left me in a precarious position as I am on the verge of homelessness.

I have been placed on a partial furlough by Sanden International USA Inc, and they submitted my application for unemployment benefits. However, my claim status shows that I did not earn enough to establish a claim. Despite my HR department's assurance that they submitted my information under the shared work employer program, I am yet to receive any benefits. I have experienced difficulties reaching a representative through the [redacted] number provided. I have only been able to speak to someone after pressing option 2, but they were unable to assist me and directed me to option 3. In [redacted], I worked and lived in Georgia, and I started working in Texas in February [redacted]. My application was submitted in May, considering a base period from January [redacted] to December [redacted]. Although I should be eligible for partial unemployment, I have not received any benefits while my coworkers have.

I have been placed on partial furlough by my employer, Sanden International USA Inc. However, when they submitted my application for unemployment benefits, it seems to have been processed as a full unemployment claim rather than a partial one. Even though my Human Resources department assured me they submitted it correctly for the shared work employer program, I am still seeing errors in my claim status. Despite multiple attempts to contact the call center, I have not been able to reach anyone who can help resolve this issue. I have been advised that the base period used for my claim, January [redacted] to December [redacted], should not impact my eligibility for partial unemployment benefits. I urgently need assistance in getting my claim corrected.

I am currently on partial furlough via Sanden International USA Inc. They submitted my unemployment application, but the claim status shows I didn't earn enough for benefits. HR believes I was filed for full unemployment, not partial, under the shared work program. They were informed that their submission overrides mine, but this hasn't been confirmed. Despite multiple calls, I haven't reached a resolution. I worked in GA in [redacted] and TX from Feb [redacted]. The application was for the period Jan-Dec [redacted], which should not impact my partial unemployment. I seek assistance via option 3 as advised.

I am unsure about receiving payment after being laid off due to the president-declared natural disaster. I am confused if I will get paid for not working regular full-time hours this week. I usually work two part-time jobs, but one has reduced hours due to Covid-19 while I am still working at the other. I rely on both jobs for my income. Thank you. Wendy D.

I have been attempting to file my claim online due to COVID-19 without success. Whenever I try to contact the specified phone number, I encounter issues like a busy signal, disconnection, or being placed on hold indefinitely. I started working on 5/11/20 but received notice that my job at the hospital will end on 08/26/20. As a result, I urgently need to file for unemployment during this period. Despite my efforts since March, I have not been able to successfully file my claim online. I kindly request assistance from a representative to resolve this matter promptly. Thank you.

As an adjunct professor, I have been impacted by the decline in student enrollment at ACC College. Because full professors are given priority for courses, I have not been able to teach since 5/31/[redacted]. I applied for TWC Unemployment four weeks ago, but my claims are still under review. I have tried contacting TWC through various phone lines, but the heavy workload has prevented me from speaking to a human. TWC's lack of assistance has left me with financial struggles, and I am considering taking out high-interest loans to cover my bills. I am unsure when this situation will improve.

I need to speak with a representative. My last filed claim was on May 3rd. Since then, I returned to work and didn't realize I could still request payments by reporting my hours. I used to make $[redacted] weekly on salary, but now earn $12 an hour working hourly for 27-32 hours, sometimes less. Despite calling since May 18th due to the pandemic, I only reach an automated system saying they can't take my call. It's now July 20th, and I've been trying for three months to no avail. I urgently require assistance as this money would help me pay my bills on time. Kindly, I really need to speak with someone.

I, Kole Kendrick, successfully registered and got approved for unemployment online. During the phone registration, my social security number pulled up an old claim from 5 years ago, causing confusion. I did not receive or record the username, password, or email associated with the old account. Now, when trying to request a payment, which was due last week, I am unable to access my account. Despite numerous attempts at calling for assistance at all hours, I have been unable to reach anyone. I am in urgent need of my unemployment check but am unable to access my account or get through on the phone. I kindly ask for help with resolving this issue. Thank you.

I am writing on behalf of Catherine Dorsey from the City of Houston Health Department. Our client is concerned about possible identity theft regarding her unemployment benefits. Due to privacy regulations, I understand that I cannot access all her details, but she is currently at the county hospital, where Harris Health declined financial assistance assuming she receives $[redacted].00 weekly in benefits. I know this is not accurate as she has been homeless. It's likely that someone else could be receiving her benefits due to her unstable living situation. The client in question is Bridgette Pennington, with the last four digits of her SSN being [redacted]. She needs clarity on whether her benefits are being diverted to another person and guidance on the necessary steps to resolve this issue.

I have been receiving unemployment benefits since May and have been completing all my required tasks such as payment requests, work searches, and checking my correspondence box diligently. However, I did not receive my checks on July 7 or July 21. I have been trying to contact Sander Gutierrez, who is handling my claim, but his phone goes to voicemail, which is full. I was informed that he has a hold on my account and needs to speak with me, but I am unable to reach him. This situation is urgent as I am facing eviction. I have funds available and have been following all the necessary steps. However, without speaking to Gutierrez, my benefits are on hold, and I risk losing my home soon. Please assist me in resolving this matter promptly. Thank you.

I filed for unemployment with TWC the week of June 14th. Upon checking my claims, it appears there are two - one active and one pending. I have been in touch with the Workforce Commission and was expecting a call back on Wednesday. Unfortunately, after waiting all of Wednesday, I did not receive a call. I finally reached Mr. Walter on Thursday after he had called me back on Tuesday. However, he mentioned he doesn't handle these matters and couldn't provide assistance. He mentioned putting me on a list. The issue seems to be the discrepancy between the active and pending claims, as my account states I have been paid $0, which doesn't align with my application for disaster unemployment. I am seeking assistance to resolve this matter. Thank you, Bill Deakin.

I have noticed that my DUA claim's Weekly Benefit Amount is incorrect, and the earnings statement from last year is inaccurate. I have submitted all the required paperwork, but I understand that changes need to be made during this Disaster filing period. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could reach out to me to address this issue. I have been struggling to get through the phone lines and keep hearing a message about the high call volume due to the pandemic preventing them from taking my call. Your assistance with this matter would be highly valued.

I recently contacted a Texas Workforce Unemployment representative at [redacted] on August 10, [redacted]. I informed them about my difficulties logging into the online system to file for unemployment for the first time, as I keep getting logged out. The representative informed me that their records indicate I applied for unemployment insurance on May 24, [redacted], and that they sent a letter asking for more information on June 19, [redacted] - which I never received. I explained that this was not possible, as I was laid off on July 31, [redacted], and did not apply in May. The representative mentioned they couldn't override the system and advised me to contact someone higher up in the TWC organization for assistance. Despite my efforts to reach a live person, I have not been successful. I am seeking help to either cancel the application from May in the system or update it so I can complete my application for unemployment insurance. Thank you. -C.B. Shaffer

I have been employed at DBI Services for over four years. I was on medical leave from February 7th to April 13th due to illness. Upon my return, I faced challenges from my supervisor, Joe, who criticized my performance and even escalated the situation by involving higher management. Despite their negative feedback, I was dedicated to improving my work. There were suggestions from colleagues that I should not push myself due to my age, but I believed in fulfilling my responsibilities. Recently, I was unexpectedly terminated by my supervisors, Joe and Will, citing performance issues. Their approach was aggressive and unfair, leaving me without a source of income to support my family and financial commitments. I feel this termination was unjust, and I am seeking assistance in obtaining the rightful benefits owed to me. Gerald H. J.

After my previous claim expired, I had to file a new claim on August 1, [redacted]. However, it has been over a month and I have not received any payment yet. Every two weeks, I submit payment requests, but my statements reflect a payment of 0.00 each time. Despite being informed by contract representatives that my case is in progress, when I contact the telecommunications line, they mention there is an issue. I am unsure how to address this if there is indeed a problem. I was informed that a representative would reach out within 21 working days, but I have not received any contact yet.

I did not receive my first check after requesting it. When I checked the telecommunication line for information, it indicated that more details were required, even though I believe I submitted all necessary information online including dates, amounts, and check request procedures. There was no notification explaining why the check was not sent, only a message stating that additional information was needed. It is crucial for me to understand the issue to determine if I will receive benefits or not, as I am in urgent need of financial assistance to support myself and my terminally ill husband under Hospice care. I am seeking clarity on the problem and the necessary steps to resolve it promptly. Thank you for your assistance. - Lois H. Dunn
