I stared using tax act like I do every year. I entered all the information. At this point i noticed that I was getting a refund of ****.**. I went ahead and finished with the ****. I could not print a copy because my printer was out of ink. S o I went ahead and E-filed the ****'s. I got my printer going and printed a copy of the **** I E-filed. I was very surprised at what I saw. This **** showed **,*** in social security benefits and that is it. **** information was not noted, this was really messed up. Your program did not alert me that somethings were really wrong. I E-filed it because your program let me file telling me everything was ok and it was ready to go. I was really worried at this point. I went back to the start area and I saw a **** that was partially filled and looked like the **** that I started I stared at the beginning. I went ahead and completed the ****. This **** had **** information but stilled did not looked right. I got an ok from your program and finished. The only thing I could think of to do was to mail this copy through the US postal service. So at this point I had produced * ****'s and mailed one and E-filed one. The one I e-filed was the one that showed I was getting ****.** refund. Now I am hoping you can tell what happened, during the process, it looks like tax act had me do * ****'s. Something that happened your program had me complete both. The **** that was giving me a refund and had little information on it was approved by tax act. Tax act gave me a go ahead and I mailed it. It should have alerted me that this **** was not good to go. This **** was really screwed up. That is my problem, tax act let me do * copies of ****'s and gave me an ok to mail. I also paid twice, right there should have been a red flag to tax act to correct before sending. I think tax act should have told me don't do a second **** you already completed and paid for one. Now who is going to explain to the IRS what happed here. Probably advice me to complete a third **** that is correct and showing my ****, social security, investments and losses. The second **** showed that I owed ****.** dollars. I send the payment for that also. Something else I don't like is tax act support is hard to find. There is no real people to talk to and explain what is going on. You have preset questions and answers that you hope will apply to most situations. You don't have real people to help, just automated junk.
