I recently ordered a cheese enchilada plate and replaced the beef taco with a carne adovada taco, but my receipt showed beef instead. The employee explained that they used the beef code for the extra charge of the carne adovada taco. I mentioned that I cannot consume ground beef due to health reasons. Despite assurances that my order would be beef-free, I found ground beef in it when I got home. Upon contacting the restaurant, they seemed bothered by my complaint and asked me to return for a replacement. I am hesitant to trust their service after this incident and fear food tampering. I placed an order through the app, and I noticed I was charged twice. This has never happened before. I paid the initial charge, and then DoorDash charged me again for more. The steak fajita bowl I received was cold, and the shell was stale. Additionally, the 5 bean and cheese tacos I ordered barely had any beans and cheese in them. When I called the store to address the issue, I spoke with the manager, Kyle, who was unhelpful. He kept me on the phone for over 30 minutes and basically dismissed my concerns. The quality of the food and being double charged is unacceptable. I don't have a car, so walking to the store is not feasible, especially since the lobby is closed. I refuse to bear the inconvenience caused by their mistake, and DoorDash is also not providing assistance since I ordered through the Taco Cabana app. The unprofessionalism and lack of care displayed by the manager, Kyle, were disappointing. I am requesting a full refund for both charges.

I contacted your office but didn't receive a response. I spent a lot of time trying to ensure my order was correct and received proper customer service. When I got home after picking up my order of three beef enchiladas and apple turnovers (or one carne asada empanada), I realized there was cilantro in my meal despite my severe allergy. I explained this at the Clay Road location, so I called the store manager to inform them. The manager at FM [redacted] and Highway 6 location refused to replace my cold empanadas, insisting there was nothing wrong with them. As a long-time customer of over 30 years, I'm disappointed with this experience and need a resolution for my $17 order. Please call me back at [redacted].

I had a disappointing experience with the drive-thru today. The cashier informed me that the points scanner was not working, so I agreed to scan for my points from the receipt. I requested light ice on my tea, which seemed to upset the cashier. After being asked to pull up, I inquired about my points, but the cashier didn't provide the receipt until I asked for it. When I asked about the points again, I was told to call customer service. Feeling frustrated, I called and was advised to return to the location for the correct receipt. I hope my third attempt will resolve this issue as I am close to earning my rewards.

I am writing to share my recent unpleasant experience at store number [redacted] with manager Jamie at Taco Cabana. Jamie yelled and belittled me while I was ordering a cabana bowl, causing me extreme humiliation. After speaking with assistant manager Mary, who kindly apologized and comped my meal, I am reaching out to ask for this matter to be addressed. I recently had a disappointing experience with an order from Taco Cabana. Dear Taco Cabana, On February 27th, I visited your Montwood and Joe Battle location in El Paso as I usually do on Sundays before playing golf. Typically, I order two Bean and Cheese tacos. Last time, I got ten with Chorizo for my friends, and they were delicious. However, yesterday I only bought two for myself, and they were extremely greasy. The first one made a mess, and the second was even worse, so I threw it away in frustration. I was disappointed and won't be ordering Chorizo in my tacos again. I was upset by the poor quality of the food compared to my previous experiences. Despite the $4 cost, it ruined my usual Sunday breakfast routine. The manager (Niki) at the Houston store near 59N and Little York Rd. ignored my son and me as we waited over 10 minutes in the lobby. Despite no other customers waiting, she walked past us and later refused to take our order even when called by an employee. Niki then walked away without helping or assigning another employee to assist us. I plan to inform others on social media about the poor service at this location to avoid similar experiences. Nearby options like Chick Fil-A, Taco Bell, Whataburger, and Burger King are all within walking distance. I hope this issue with the morning manager is resolved to prevent other paying customers from leaving hungry. Thank you.

I used my boss's personal card for a staff development order and misplaced the receipt. The store couldn't help since it was past the time window and directed me to contact the Corporate Accounting office. I called customer service for guidance on reaching Accounting, but was informed that I couldn't contact them directly. I left my details for a return call, but it has been a week with no response. After finishing a 12-hour shift, I was hoping to grab breakfast, but upon finding the doors locked, I knocked for assistance. One worker ignored me, and the chef responded with hand signals and attitude when I inquired about the opening hours. The drive-thru attendant was equally rude when I sought clarification and even shouted as I left. This experience was unacceptable, and I won't be returning to this location. It's disappointing that Taco Cabana has staff who act so unprofessionally, as this seems to be a recurring issue based on other complaints.

Around 3 p.m. this afternoon, I visited the restaurant located at [redacted] Cypress Waters Blvd in Irving, TX (ZIP: [redacted]) for the first time. I used the drive-thru, and while placing my order, I had difficulty reading the menu from my car seat. I inquired about getting certain tacos in a "plate" order. A lady confirmed my request and asked about adding cheese or queso and a drink, to which I declined the drink and inquired about the difference between queso and cheese. When the original male worker returned, he perceived my question as disrespectful towards the manager, which was not my intention. Eventually, I received my order from an African-American male worker who seemed upset. I advised him I didn't appreciate his tone and clarified my cultural understanding of "queso." Despite the interaction being my initial encounter with your establishment, it left me with a negative impression. As a diabetic, I needed a meal and visited Taco Cabana in Pasadena, TX. I ordered a small beef quesadilla without pico and witnessed some concerning practices. An employee handled money, then changed gloves without washing hands, while another employee used a gloved hand to make food and handle the telephone. I found the quesadilla to be poorly made with old, dried-out meat and barely toasted tortilla. Upon returning the food, the staff argued instead of addressing the issue. Despite receiving a cash refund, no effort was made to remake the food or apologize. The overall cleanliness and maintenance of the restaurant were also subpar. The way the manager dealt with my complaint was unsatisfactory, lacking professionalism and customer service. This experience leaves me hesitant to return to Taco Cabana, as it seems there have been no improvements in over three years.

I visit the Taco Cabana in Desoto, Texas every morning before work. Despite the food being pre-cooked, I find it frustrating that it takes nearly 30 minutes to get my order in the drive-through. The dining room is consistently closed, adding to the delays. As a loyal customer, this is becoming unacceptable. Being late for work due to waiting for a breakfast taco is frustrating. The Desoto location requires improved management to address the long wait times. There seems to be a lack of attention to fast service, especially during breakfast and at night.

Last night, I visited the Taco Cabana located on Main Street at Surf in Lewisville, Texas. After waiting for about 10 minutes, I approached the register to place my order. I requested 3 soft tacos with ground beef, cheese, beans, and sour cream. Unfortunately, the employee informed me that she couldn't fulfill my order as requested. Despite explaining that I've ordered the same thing before, she still couldn't accommodate me. When I asked to speak to the manager, my request was denied, and the manager didn't intervene. The employee insisted that I choose something else, and eventually, I decided to leave and go elsewhere due to the unsatisfactory service. This experience was disappointing, especially with the lack of assistance from the manager. If this is typical at Taco Cabana, there seems to be a serious issue with customer service.

On July 7th at 10:22 pm, I visited the Georgetown location and ordered a small chicken quesadilla, a cabana sampler plate with no pictures, a large steak quesadilla with pico, and two beef crunchy tacos. However, my order was incorrect as I received a messy cabana sampler with hard rice, two soft beef tacos with lettuce, and no large quesadillas. After contacting the manager, Ms. Desirae Cortez, I was informed that a refund would be issued within 3-7 business days. Despite waiting two weeks, the refund has not reflected in my account. When reaching out to the general manager, I was met with rude and disrespectful behavior. The manager denied the incident, but I paid $32.12 with my card ending in [redacted]. I requested the corporate number, but was continuously hung up on.

I called this morning to inquire about the pricing of a pound of barbacoa. The person who answered was extremely rude. When I asked about the pricing, he told me to look online myself and then abruptly hung up. Upon calling back and requesting the information again, he responded in a similarly disrespectful manner. This behavior is unacceptable. The incident occurred at the location in Albuquerque NM on San Mateo. I'm from San Antonio Texas and have never faced such unprofessionalism at a Taco Cabana before.
