Hello, I bought the game BOAT from you on 30.04.[redacted] under my account 'tom22457' for €21.24. However, I accidentally purchased this game again on 12.01.[redacted] as a bundle (BOAT and Car Mechanic Simulator [redacted]) under my other account 'tomethcart' for €22.51. I contacted Steam when I noticed this double purchase. They refuse to issue a refund because I have played the game for too long. The playtime is actually for the first game purchased on 30.04.[redacted]. The new game purchased on 12.01.[redacted] has never been played. I have tried to explain this to Steam multiple times - without success. They keep giving me the same response, rejecting the refund, and it seems like they are not reading my emails at all. When I checked the purchase from 12.01.[redacted], I found a note from Steam: "1 of 2 products in this bundle is already in your library." Why is Steam unable to verify this situation? I hope this can be resolved now. Best regards!

I recently bought a $[redacted] Steam Card as a gift, but my friend couldn't redeem it. The store couldn't give me a refund due to system issues with the card. They suggested I contact Steam Support for help. I visited www.steampowered.com/wallet/support, but without a Steam account, I couldn't reach support. I need a way to contact them for a refund but don't have a Steam Account. Can someone provide me with a telephone number or email address to resolve this issue? The receipt and card are attached for reference.

Hello, I suspect that my Steam account has been compromised. When I attempted to log in on Wednesday, my password was not recognized. When I tried to reset my password, the displayed email address associated with my account is unfamiliar, and there is no option to indicate that it is not mine. I also attempted to verify my account through PayPal, the same account I used to make purchases during their recent holiday sale, but it was not recognized. Unfortunately, most of Steam's troubleshooting links only lead to a circular process without resolving the issue. I submitted a support ticket on the same day, but have yet to receive a response. In the meantime, it seems someone else is accessing and enjoying the games I have purchased. If Steam is unable to assist, I kindly request a refund for the games I have a PayPal receipt for. Your help in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I am in need of assistance with my Steam account as I have lost access to the phone and PC where it was set up. Unfortunately, I can't recall my username exactly, but I remember it having emojis like (🐺🐾snowywolf🐺🐾) or (🐺🐾winterwolf🐺🐾). Due to past issues with my parent, I had to change emails and now reside with my grandparents. The email linked may have been [redacted] initially. My account includes games like Garry's Mod, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Fallout 4, and The Witcher series. Despite limited proof, any assistance would be appreciated. My account was inactive since before Christmas due to family circumstances. I had a friend on Steam named CYTR and faced a ban on GTA V. I enjoyed modding Skyrim using the Creation Kit and Nexus Mods. Slime Rancher and Paint the Town Red were possibly on my wishlist. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Dominic Oscar H. Apologies for any spelling errors.

Hello, I was recently engaged in trading on Rocket League when I encountered an issue with a contact through Steam. I attempted to log in to an account provided to me, but was met with difficulty. Subsequently, I was informed by a Discord friend of a potential hacking attempt related to this exchange. Upon attempting to secure my Steam account by changing the password, I discovered it had already been compromised. Regrettably, my valuable in-game items and progress were lost in the process. I sought assistance from Steam support, though my efforts were futile due to the swift actions of the hacker. I now realize the mistake in trusting this seemingly beneficial trade. I kindly ask for prompt action to help me regain control of my account. Thank you.

Dear Sirs, I am writing to report unauthorized transactions on my PayPal and credit card accounts linked to a Steam user, syslgame521u. The individual made purchases on eBay for a Steam account with the game "Dead by Daylight" and subsequently bought expansions and Paysafecards using my accounts. I have all the receipts as evidence of the transactions made, which I believe to be theft. I kindly request a full refund for all purchases made on Steam using my credit card and PayPal account, including the Paysafecards. Additionally, I ask for the associated Steam account to be closed due to the compromise of my personal information and identity. I am concerned about potential identity theft and seek your assistance in resolving this matter promptly. Sincerely, Tatiana Charalambous/Alexander Larnaca, Cyprus

A friend mistakenly reported my account for "Illegal Purchases." I reached out to the supposed administrator, who locked me out of my account even after I provided screenshots of my purchase history as requested. The administrator then shared a Discord link with me and asked me to validate my account by making a purchase on cs.money. I followed the instructions using a "Steam Program Account" provided and spent $50. Subsequently, I received a message stating "Payment percentage are now: 37%," which made me suspicious of a potential scam. The account details given to me were: Username: codelife123 Password: [redacted] I am currently in communication with the administrator and concerned about the safety of my account. The Steam account associated with him is under the name -GoV-gab- and his Discord is ValveSoftware#[redacted].

I have encountered a problem with a $[redacted] Steam Card I purchased today as a gift. When trying to redeem it, the system indicated the card had already been redeemed and required additional funds. This issue occurred previously with a $[redacted] card, and Game Stop replaced it. The store could not refund my money due to difficulties voiding the receipt and card. The store mentioned ongoing challenges with Steam cards. The manager advised contacting Steam Support for a refund. The serial number of the problematic card is EFWCJ-2NTKT-Q96VY. I feel frustrated about losing $[redacted] and have decided not to buy Steam Cards again due to this experience.

I have been a Steam user for many years without encountering any issues until recently. I am currently unable to access my account due to problems with my email login. Despite resetting my password multiple times, I haven't been able to resolve the issue and access my account. This is particularly frustrating because I have spent nearly $[redacted] on games that I can no longer play or access. It is important for me to have access as I enjoy playing classic games on my laptop/computer. I urgently require customer support to help me regain access to my Steam account. I have tried resetting my password and changing my email address associated with the account, but so far, I have not seen any improvement in resolving this issue. It's disheartening not being able to enjoy the games I have purchased.

At 1 am this morning, I received a message from someone on my Steam friend list claiming they accidentally reported me for duped items. They directed me to a fake admin who threatened to permanently terminate my account unless I provided my Steam Account information. Unfortunately, I fell for this scam and lost access to my account, which was then used to steal other accounts. The account in question is under the nickname Pelee. I’m unable to change my password as the scammers changed the associated email address and phone number. I am hoping for a way to regain control of the email so I can link it to my other email account.

This afternoon, I submitted a request for help as my account was stolen. I possess video evidence showing the scammer's attempt to deceive my friend as well. I urgently seek your assistance in reclaiming my account, aiding my friend who fell victim to the scam, and banning the scammer. The individual, using the Steam account name SIMOX, impersonates Steam support to claim there is a problem with duplicated items on your friend's account. Subsequently, they prompt you to send money to a fraudulent account on a CS trading website. Fortunately, I did not provide any financial information and misled them about my card details. The scammer then seizes control of your account under the guise of rectifying an error related to unpaid games. I implore you to intervene, block this scammer's account, and prevent further fraudulent activities. I have video evidence of their failed attempt with my friend on Discord. While we were unsuccessful in contacting the scammer through the server, I remain vigilant. Additionally, I have included my Steam account IDs for reference: [redacted][redacted] [U:1:[redacted]56] STEAM_0:0:[redacted]8. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

Hello! I've been trying to obtain a refund for Just Survive (H1Z1) but keep receiving the same automated email from Steam, stating I played the game for more than 2 hours. I purchased the game years ago, played it briefly, and left while waiting for it to be finished. Upon revisiting in [redacted], I learned the servers were permanently closed in [redacted]. I had hoped the game would be completed, but it was shut down without warning. I seek a refund not due to disliking the game but because I am unable to access it now. I feel let down by Daybreak and Steam Customer Support, who only send generic responses. I am hoping for a refund to my Steam wallet to explore a different game. Thank you for your assistance. I used to go by the account name "RAMMER_marksman" in WORLD OF WARSHIPS for over a year on my laptop, where I invested a significant amount of money and had over 72 ships. Recently, I purchased an NVIDIA gaming console to play on my 4k TV and had to use Steam with GeForce Now. I mistakenly thought I needed to redownload the game and purchased a wow 3 ships pack, expecting to log in with my old username and retrieve all my previous progress. Unfortunately, I was prompted to create a new username, so I ended up using "[redacted]" instead of "marksman". After starting over and playing for a week, I am now considering reaching out to Steam support to see if they can help me access my original account to play directly through Steam on my NVIDIA gaming console using GeForce Now.

I was attempting to connect my STEAM account to Gamekit on my PC. After entering my login information and the Steamguard code from the email, I received another email stating my credentials had been changed. Despite trying to log back in, I kept getting an error message stating my information is incorrect. I even noticed someone playing Counter Strike GO on my account, a game I haven't played in years. Feeling worried and confused, I reached out to Steam for assistance but haven't had any luck. I'm extremely anxious and just want to communicate my problem to a support agent promptly to regain control of my account, which holds all my favorite games for the past 4 years. This situation has left me distressed as my account is my source of happiness. I'm desperate for help to resolve this issue and reclaim access to my account.

My account was recently hacked. After accepting a friend request, I was sent a suspicious link to a CSGO website. Despite not clicking on it, I found myself logged out of my account while checking the Steam store. When attempting to log back in, I received an "incorrect username and password" error. After trying to reset my password through the "forgot password" option and verifying my emails, I discovered I had been logged out of all devices and my mobile number removed. I submitted a ticket for help but received no response after 19 hours, so I closed it and submitted a new one for a "Stolen and Hijacked account" issue. My account has both my original email and phone number linked to it.

Hello, my account has been compromised. My password was changed, and my Steam Guard token was removed by a different account. This incident occurred because a friend told me he accidentally reported me for scamming and having duplicate items in Team Fortress 2. He directed me to a Steam profile posing as a "Steam admin" to resolve the misunderstanding and prevent my account from being deleted. The supposed admin requested a trade of all my in-game items for scanning to verify their legitimacy and also asked for my account name. After providing this information, I was instructed to wait. After approximately 5 minutes, my Steam account automatically logged off. I need assistance in recovering my account. Phone Number: [redacted] Account Login Name: vankloc I hope this information assists you in helping me recover my account. Sincerely, Lachmiz

I share a laptop with my 9-year-old brother. While I was out, he downloaded some .exe files instead of games from Steam, which turned out to be keyloggers and trojans. He didn't mention this to me, and later, when I tried to play on my Steam account after watching a film, I got a notification saying my account information was changed. I couldn't recover it as my email and phone number associated with the account were altered. I've contacted Steam support but haven't heard back in 24 hours. I'm concerned because my brother is online and playing PUBG on my account; my friend even noticed him hacking in the game. Thankfully, I don't have any valuable items left in my account since I sold them around January 27. I'm willing to provide any necessary information to resolve this situation.

When I try to launch Steam, I encounter an issue where I am unable to connect to the internet. Upon opening Steam, the store page appears black, and I keep receiving a small window notification regarding my friends list/status. After a brief moment, it informs me that the Steam Servers are offline. I do not have a network card but use a USB router that connects to my PC. I attempted to resolve this by updating my network driver as suggested online, but it did not fix the problem. I am hesitant to attempt the solution of deleting/renaming files as per some internet advice. I am hopeful for your assistance. Thank you in advance.

Hi, I recently reinstalled Steam and encountered an issue with SteamGuard asking for a verification code that was supposed to be sent to my email, although I haven't received it after several hours. Trying to use the Steam mobile app for the code led to a login stall issue. I wasn't aware SteamGuard was enabled, and I haven't made any recent changes to my account or email. Any advice on how to resolve this would be appreciated as it seems the email verification is the only obstacle. Thank you for your assistance!
