I would like to inquire how to report a malicious vendor to cash app. I was robbed of nearly $*,*** from a recipient (who had a cash app business account) who asked me to send them $***. After I made payment, they said the payment did not go through, because I was sending through cash app via my bank account (they explained this was unique to business accounts and that’s why I’d never heard of this). So they asked me to send again, this time uploading it to my cash app account first. So I did and they acknowledged that they received the payment. However, that caused some issue they explained (I have screenshots that I can provide for support) and now needed to send $*** to resolve the money being locked up *$*** coming from my * $*** payments and an initial $** payment where I actually DID receive services*. I had strong feeling that they were Full of BS, but we’re very convincing and said not only was it keeping my initial $*** transfer from being refunded to me, but that they also couldn’t revive the *nd (supposedly correct) transfer. Somewhere between stupidity and empathy I agreed to transfer another $***. Well... they said I did not put “AUTOMATIC REFUND” in the comments line, so it was tied up too! They said the second I initiated another $*** payment with the correct comments provided, I would get my money back from the “supposedly incorrect” transfers. Obviously, that did not happen. *I willingly transferred the money, however I want to dispute that I never received the services I paid for - and at minimum - have Square*Cash App ban or suspend this ‘bad actor’ and ban the bank account it was linked to from ever associating with the platform again. If I never get a penny back, I can live with that, as long as the malicious party suffers consequences and is not allowed to continue to trick innocent parties. I did request refunds on all transfers, however, they were denied (since the bad actor is the approving party). I also have full screenshots of the conversation showing their lies and deceit. Ultimately, if you can help me get this person banned from this platform and to bring some small bit of justice to this event, I would feel much better.
