For years, I relied on the effectiveness of Adderall IR 5mg by Shire for my ADHD until it vanished five years ago. Since then, I've been using the less effective Teva 10mg IR. Despite my efforts, I've been unable to locate the Shire brand. It's frustrating to hear it's available but inaccessible at all the pharmacies I've contacted in NW Montana. Can anyone direct me to a reliable source for this medication? It would greatly improve my quality of life. Thank you. -Scott D.

On September 8 at 10:08 PM, my name is Tina Veronica Marin. I live in New London, Connecticut, and my doctor is Dr. Cooley at Waterstone Counseling in Groton, Connecticut. He has been prescribing me Vyvanse 70 mg for about three years, with a break of five months, now having been back on it for two months. This is the fourth time I suspect either a placebo or a different ADD medication has been given without my consent, with blame placed on Shire Pharmaceuticals stating a change to generic. I have decided to reach out to clarify this issue. My phone number is [redacted]-[redacted]. I suffer from severe ADHD and have had challenging experiences expressing myself, often leading to panic attacks. I lost trust in doctors due to these experiences and am seeking clarification on my medication situation. I hope to hear from you soon regarding this matter. Thank you for your attention.

My doctor prescribed Adderall XR 20 mg and Adderall IR 15 mg, but my insurance keeps denying it. I'm in the appeals process, going without my medication. Generics make me sick, so I haven't taken my meds for days. The cost is $[redacted] for the 15 mg one and more for the 20 mg. I can't afford them. Is there a way to get a one-time coupon for a month's supply to bridge me until my insurance appeal is settled? The side effects of generics are intolerable, and I have a history of them not working for me. I'm stuck in this process, unable to get my meds without the money. I hope for some assistance. Thank you.
