I purchased a pair Salomon Quest *D * GTX hiking boots last summer. I have had some medical issues and have not worn or used the boots much at all. The sole tread is like new but is already separating and the right boot has developed a squeak that is so annoying you could not take a hike in them. It is my understanding this product is warranted for two years under normal use and mine have not seen near the normal use for a pair of hiking boots. Literally less that ** miles on these boots. I would like them replaced given the substantial price paid for a product expected to perform and last far longer than these have without even being used on a single hike or backpacking trip. Only worn around the home or out to the store. Hopefully Salomon will stand behind their product or I will be back to my trusty Asolo's which I have worn for * plus years on many backpacking and hiking trips with zero issues. Only reason I retire a pair of Asolo boots is the tread is completely worn out. The rest of the boot will still be in good working order.**Thank you
