Since my arrival in Lisbon, I have been experiencing a nightmare Necaude of this reservation. I arrive at **h at the GoldCar-Rodhium reservation desk (Resevatiok number *********). Because of a problem in the card machine to take the deposit, the assistance in charge refuse to proceed with the car rental. It is midnight, we are exhausted and no alternative is proposed to us regarding the card machine failure. They don’t accept money, they don’t accept check. Tired of trying to find a solution, we are obliged to pay a cab to the hotel. They refuse to issue an attestation regarding their problem. They refuse to discuss about the refund. They refuse any help. Next morning we call rental cars to ensure we are getting a refund after the worst experience we could have with this reservation. After ** minutes for our call to be taken, the attendant tell us that a “case” has been opened in my costumer account and that I shall follow the steps to request the refund. I log in my account and there is an error in the indicated page, impossible to open the “case”. More ** minutes on the phone trying to get in contact with rental cars, nobody answers the call. Having come just for the weekend, we are now losing all our Saturday morning trying to solve the situation. No refund. No car. And losing the time we were supposed to be enjoying the trip. Unacceptable as customer service. A poor, horrible costumer service!!!! I require to be contacted as soon as possible, to have my refund as soon as possible!!!!!!!! Never again I am renting anything with rental cars or GoldCar. This situation is a hugh absurd!!!!!!!!
