I submitted a purchase order via the CPS Oracle system on 11/16/18 and applied a promo code during checkout. After not receiving a confirmation email after a week, I faxed the PO to follow up. The confirmation I received displayed additional tax, although CPS is tax exempt. Customer service indicated I needed to submit a tax exempt form. I believe this form should be on file already, as it should be standard for all Chicago Public Schools. Despite faxing a tax exempt form, I was informed the promo code didn't apply as it had expired on 11/16, the same day I placed the order. However, the customer service representative insisted my order was on 11/26 and hence, the promo item wasn't eligible. This miscommunication, coupled with the unfriendly demeanor of the customer service representative, has left me hesitant to continue purchasing from Quill. I have received a payment request that I am unsure about as I do not have an open invoice. This is the second notice I have received after raising the issue before. I believe it could be related to the canceled program that was not approved by the village board. I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter so that it is not mistakenly attributed to the village account. Thank you for your help.

Order [redacted]14 Quill Account [redacted] Customer: Jack A. Jeffery I received my desk protector FR DE2036 RA 1 today and was disappointed with the packaging. The labels were torn off, leaving red and black marks on the protector. It took me over an hour to remove the residue. Additionally, a white panel label was hard to clean off due to sticky glue. The protector was rolled so tightly in the box that it doesn't lay flat on the desk as expected, and it lacks the promised non-skid properties. I have been a loyal Quill customer for many years and felt let down by this shipment. I won't be returning it as I need it urgently but wanted to provide feedback for your supplier. I have also informed Staples, the shipping company, and attached a picture of the leftover label on the protector in my email to them. Unfortunately, I could not send the picture to you directly.
