Princess cruise booking *HK*KXK**First let me start by saying I have cruised NWG, RCI, and CCL. I have an upcoming first time cruising on princess and I have had an issue with my booking that has left me pretty disappointed, which is not a great feeling prior to even stepping foot on your ship. The following is my story, so far no one at Princess has really cared about it, guessing you may not either, but as a shareholder I feel like my story should be told in hopes of bettering the company. **I booked a balcony room. Was happy with that, felt like I got a decent price and am eagerly awaiting my cruising. Out of the blue you email my travel agent an upgrade offer. It seems like a good deal, so I bite on the upgrade. It’s a balcony mini suite for the low low price of $*** each. Great, I’ll take it. We get the upgrade and the next day I check out our new location and much to my surprise the new “upgraded” room is an OBSTRUCTED view!!!! During the upgrade process NO ONE said it was an OBSTRUCTED view. I called to complain and made it up to a supervisor level. Let me tell you, she didn’t care. I even offered to stay in the OBSTRUCTED view room, just don’t charge me the upgrade fee. Nope, all she offered was $** on board credit. That’s it, she said that is all she could do because there are no other balcony rooms available. She did offer me a mini suite with no balcony, um, that’s not an UPGRADE!!! So now your wonderful upgrade has cost me $*** each person less a $** onboard credit. This is NOT a fair offer, and is NOT an upgrade. OBSTRUCTED view should have been disclosed, and the supervisor admitted that, but all they would offer is $** to placate me. Again, I haven’t even stepped foot on this ship and I am frustrated. :( **If someone takes the time to read my story I would appreciate a response. **Hoping the rest of the trip is amazing. ***Stacey Tonovitz
