The issue in GetHuman-lucyster's own words
On April ** of this year we rented a Payless vehicle in Memphis. Approximately twenty minutes into our trip we had a blowout on a major highway. I was able to get roadside assistance two hours later. We were not able to use the car all weekend. We drove it back to the airport and reported what had happened. I then opened a ticket number with Payless. I have never received a response, even after four attempts. Their agents say they’re transferring you to a supervisor that goes to a waiting line. To add insult to injury, I received a letter stating they are going to use our credit card for repairs. I don’t want to retain an attorney over this, but I have never seen such lack of customer service like this before. I’m so frustrated with their ticket numbers and lack of courtesy that I will probably have an attorney and the better business bureau involved.
