The issue in GetHuman-dgoodwin's own words
I'm a Office *** subscriber and in the past few weeks I've encountered two separate instance where Excel formulae that have worked perfectly fine and functioned just fine when I copy them suddenly do not function. Even something as simply as typing in Cell A* "*B*" and then copying the formula down does not copy B*, B*, B*, etc. Instead it continues to copy B*, as if my formula referred to B* as an Absolute Reference (i.e., $B$*). A few weeks ago I was able to find some work around that had me disable add-ins (?), again, a change that was suddenly needed for Excel to function properly. And now I'm having this problem, but am not having any luck finding a solution via Google. This subscription choice of mine was keep me up with the latest Office products, not regress due to poor quality control with updates, not be a Beta Tester. This is why Apple always wins! Please advise as to what trick I need to perform to get Excel's calculational functions working properly again!!! This is costing me valuable time.
