Are you willing or able to acknowledge the composition and character of your management team, and address their behavior pertaining to the policies and job duties your cooperation had for them to follow? Truthfully I'm trying to inform you and explain the fact that they are putting an immense strain on dependable, ethical workers to the point they are walking out. This hence putting the imminent future of the rest of our jobs at risk with violations of health, labor, and civil rights laws. I normally wouldn't go to this extent but I myself own*manage a good business. I was recently called to return to work. Furthermore proving my quality as a worker and the ability to build valves amongst employees and create a cleaner*safe work environment. Since the change in management I have been subjected to unfair practices by management. I understand "favoritism" is not illegal, but when left with they brunt of the daily duties to finish and nightshift because requirements are not being met if completely unfair. I as well as other employees feel taken advantage of. I have passed every good course and certification test have to me through ocharleys with ***%, and as long as I have been employed there only one to do so. I know majority of all specs and try to follow accordingly when applicable. I have delt with understaffing due to poor schedule making , ( and not as labour issue) where I forced to do otherwise when proper prepping was not done, and lack of help from management. I have reported many problems to management dealing with broke equipment, people failing to perform essential tasks, employees allowed to leave early on closing shifts without checking out and leaving meet to clean after them, as well closing and working shifts by myself on large volume nights. I have reported discrimination to Ken involving the service manager Jamie, with no profound effect, except retaliation and hence creating a hostile and stressful work environment with me and management. I have since delt with direct sabotage where I was unable to perform my job duties do to being ignored and constantly provoked into verbal altercations by her which I would by law consider unwelcome discriminatory conduct. I have had personal property thrown away, altogether rendering a intimating atmosphere when I can't get anything done about it. I have pictures to provide a glimpse and proof of my statements and allegations. I would suggest video proof as well. I have Co workers who have witnessed this as well as customers who have over a conversation Jamie and an employee talking about me in the dining room of the establishment. Since the last altercation I have lost wages do to them cutting meet early on closing shifts because she was working and now being sent home while investigation persues which I think is unjust. During the last week they have called me on days off to help close dish and early twice to help, which I always do. I have worked ** hour shifts with no breaks. I have been chastised for talking a break to go outside when I was in my fifth to seventh hour on closing shifts. As of recently i have been terminated wrongfully for expressing my concerns. I would like to handle this within the company, and continue my employment because I do have a passion to cook and serve the public and once enjoyed my job there. I have felt this situation has been delt with unfair and I'm willing to file with the Kentucky Labour Board and EEOC if need be. Sorry for all the turmoil and confrontation.** Sincerely, Daniel Sparks
