My furnace starts up properly, but after running for 10 minutes, the burner shuts down even though the thermostat isn't satisfied. The blower fan continues running, then eventually stops, and a green light flashes. Later, both red and green lights come on, the cycle repeats. I contacted tech support and was advised to replace multiple limit switches. After replacing them, the issue persists. Gas pressure, filters, and vents are all fine. I even tried opening the duct access to the coil, but the problem remains. The supply and return ducts are clear. The furnace model is KG7SD120D45D1, and the serial number is KGG[redacted]63.

I need help with a Gibson upflow furnace model KG7SA 090C-24B, serial number KGD[redacted]18. The furnace is short cycling and struggling to maintain the temperature. My mother, M, left for work at 9 pm last night, and when she returned in the morning, it was only 68 degrees inside. I recently replaced the blower motor and the flame sensor, and changed the circuit board two years ago. While working on it, I found some pet hair and debris near the blower motor, possibly affecting its performance. The thermostat was not triggering the fan when set to "auto," leading me to replace the blower motor. The furnace goes through its normal cycle but then starts short cycling after a few minutes without any error codes. Could it be a limit switch issue or a thermostat problem? The thermostat is flashing "heat" when it should be steady. I'm seeking advice on resolving this issue to ensure my mother's comfort. Thank you for your help and insights.

23 months ago, I bought a mobile home with a Nordyne Intertherm M1MB-077ABW furnace from June [redacted]. I thought it would last at least a decade without issues. Unfortunately, a week ago, the furnace stopped working. Arco sent two repairmen who discovered the safety feature was causing the problem. They found that removing it allowed the furnace to work, but it's unsafe to keep it that way. Now I'm facing the choice of purchasing a new furnace for $[redacted].00. It's frustrating to consider replacing a furnace that's not even three years old. I'm hoping for a solution to fix the safety feature and avoid the costly replacement, especially with the weather getting colder in St. Peters daily. -Rebecca S.

Hello! I need help with my old Nordyne gas furnace, model number MMHA-077ABHR-05. It's not working and showing a 2 blinking light code indicating an issue with the centrifugal switch. I'm trying to figure out if the problem is with the old inducer motor or the limit switch. I inspected both switches, and they seem fine without any burn marks or melting, but one is pressed out and the other is not. The one not pushing back out rattles and seems to be the limit switch. I want to fix this urgently as the temperature dropped to 5 degrees last night, and my water lines are at risk of freezing. Thank you for any advice! - Toby W.

My HVAC unit was installed in [redacted] and has been leaking from the coils ever since. Despite the installer attempting to fix it 6 or 7 times, as well as another company trying to help to no avail, the issue persists. The mold growth resulting from the leaks is now affecting my spouse's health (COPD) and mine, not to mention the financial strain from unsuccessful repair attempts. I am considering seeking legal assistance to explore my options, as I am adamant about replacing the unit due to concerns about health and home damage. The product is still under the 7-year parts warranty, but I have lost faith in local technicians and fear further consequences. I urge for a resolution before more harm is done.

I own two Frigidaire furnaces, Model FG7SA 108C-35C. One of them, with Serial Number FGD[redacted]27, has been experiencing issues. The problem is that the furnace 'short cycles' upon demand for heat: the inducer motor starts, the ignitor heats up, the gas valve opens, and the burner lights but does not stay lit, leading to the cycle restarting. The burner may stop immediately after ignition, or sometimes stay lit briefly before shutting off when the blower starts. I have cleaned the Flame Sensor, switched the Control Board, and swapped limit sensor switches without success. I checked the inducer pressure switch, which seems to be working correctly. I have ruled out the Flame Sensor, Control Board, and limit switches. Seeking help in identifying the missing cause or overlooked element. Thank you.
