I have worked for ** years and never been fired. I’ve paid into unemployment my entire adult life and I was denied unemployment because of an argument with a coworker after an entire day of being text and called a liar when I had two doctor’s notes. I brought them in so they knew I wasn’t lying and they were thrown back at me..I have many health issues and I’m not a liar. I’ve had * surgeries in the past ** years but I’m still going to work every day. I feel like I’m being denied for no good reason. I was the victim the day I was fired over an argument. Completely unfair and I want to speak to somebody with real authority. Not to a state employee who is coached on what to say to me when no one from Kia would answer the phone. I’ve paid my unemployment benefits my entire adult life and I’m fired but the guy who text me that I’m not what I used to be and ashamed of myself for being ill. That is discrimination but I’m denied unemployment benefits and he gets to keep his job?!! I will go to the governor. I will go as high as I have to because I was a victim of discrimination and denied my rights to unemployment after a lifetime of paying into it!
