I had a light stream account which paid on monthly via automatic deduction from my Suntrust banking account,*Last year I was treated for prostrate cancer, long range of radiation therapy etc. Other bills began to pile up however I continued to pay my bills. I filed for bankruptcy in November of **** because of the many medical bills I never missed a payment however in December I called light steam to inquire about no payment automatically showing. The rep explained that the moment I filed that payments automatically stop until your bankruptcy proceedings are com. I finally received notice in March of **** at which time I called lightstream to inquire how I should proceed I was told my lightstream payment was included in the court dissolving my case, however my brother who has excellent credit rating was a co-signer, Harold Harris the co-signer has been in a convalescent home for * months due to an infection on his spine his equity line of credit was affected due to this horrible situation. I had not defaulted I was told to call lightstream was I received notice of the outcome.!am very concerned about my brothers credit which has been effected an need further guidance on trying to rectify thisvsituatn??
