I just purchased tickets for my family to return home and while searching I found a flight for $*** per person(when I looked yesterday it was $***). When I clicked on view deal to purchase tickets I was sent to the airlines website (primera air). Once to the Primera's website the currency was changed to Pounds Sterling and the price of the flight went up to ***. Because of the needs of my family I chose the comfort level tickets which included luggage and that amount was *** pounds. Kayaks website had the same flight listed for the *th of July for $*** through Primera but it was billed through Kayak and the currency stayed the same. If we could have purchased our tickets at the posted price and currency we would have paid $****(I used the invoice from the posted flight billed through kayak). Instead, because of the incorrect currency listed on Kayak's website and Primera's incorrect currency listing, and the fact that I was not able to fly on a different day, I was forced to pay $****.** which is a significant difference simply because of a change in currency. I would like it if Kayak would refund me the difference in currencies which would be $***. I would also like to add that I have used Kayak for all my flight purchases and plan on continuing to use them but there were a great deal of inaccuracies in my last flight search.
