Today was the *rd time (in * *** years) that I didn't receive my grocery order. Of course, I called CS and reported it and answered all questions. Final result? I got a free reorder. That is fine* however, when I order alcohol, I must not only be there but must show ID and sign. I know it is hard to determine if the store, delivery person or customer is at fault. However, I suggest that all stores that use Instacart, establish a system like liquor stores so there are no problems. You can say it is up to each store. However, my next move would be to cancel my Instacart account. I hate having to report this kind of thing, knowing your CS department has no way of knowing who is telling the truth. Having some kind of transfer of product system by Instacart for all stores would certainly lower the company's losses and make customers happier.
