I need to speak with a representative regarding two items. Firstly, I am concerned about our [redacted] taxes that have not been processed yet. Despite my husband reaching out to the payment arrangement line multiple times to prevent a levy, our return has been faxed several times to different agents upon their request but remains unprocessed when I check our account online. Over the weekend, I attempted to e-file our [redacted] taxes, but they were rejected due to using the correct AGI from our [redacted] filing. I also did not receive the second stimulus payment because of this delay, and I fear missing out again because of the IRS's slow processing. As e-filing was not an option when we filed, I had to resort to the traditional method. It's important to note that the tax debt at hand belongs to my husband, yet it significantly impacts me with levy warnings, no refunds, and the additional burden of addressing this issue amidst my busy schedule. Please reach out to me promptly to assist in resolving these matters.

In May [redacted], we, Gordon R Jolley & Judith A Jolley, received a letter from the Department of the Treasury dated May 22, [redacted], stating "Your Economic Impact Payment Has Arrived." The letter mentioned we would receive an Economic Impact Payment of $[redacted].35 but did not specify the method of payment (check/debit card). Subsequently, we received a follow-up letter indicating we may not have activated an Economic Impact Payment Card, which we never received. Despite numerous attempts to contact the provided number and other available numbers for assistance, we were unsuccessful. Last week, I, Gordon Jolley, received another letter regarding the unactivated card, adding to the confusion with the multiple letters addressed to both "Gordon R Jolley & Judith A Jolley" and just Gordon Jolley. I am unsure if these correspond to different years or the same year. Additionally, while filing my [redacted] tax return through TurboTax, I was asked about receiving stimulus payments, to which my answer is no. I am concerned about a potential issue given that the IRS seems to have a record of us receiving a payment. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you. Gordon R Jolley

In May [redacted], we, Gordon R. Jolley and Judith A. Jolley, received a letter from the Department of the Treasury dated May 22, [redacted], stating that our Economic Impact Payment has arrived. The letter mentioned that we were receiving a payment of $[redacted].35 but did not specify if it was by check or debit card. Subsequently, we received another letter indicating that we may not have activated an Economic Impact Payment Card, which we never received. Despite multiple efforts to contact the provided number for assistance without success, we've been unsuccessful. Recently, I, Gordon Jolley, received a similar letter about activating the payment card. I'm unsure if these letters pertain to different years or the same year. I'm also unsure why some are addressed to "Gordon R. Jolley & Judith A. Jolley" while others are addressed to Gordon Jolley. When preparing my [redacted] taxes using TurboTax, it flagged that Judith may have qualified for stimulus payments, though we never received any. I am concerned whether this discrepancy could cause issues since the IRS might believe we have already received a payment. Thank you for any assistance you can provide. Gordon R. Jolley.

In [redacted], my husband and I filed our taxes with Liberty Tax. They sent our paperwork in February [redacted]. Sadly, my husband passed away in April [redacted]. We claimed injured spouse as I was not in default on school loans. Liberty Tax informed me it could take up to 12 weeks for processing. In August [redacted], they contacted me about a refund but have not received it yet. I also never got a stimulus for my son and am missing $1,[redacted]. H&R Block mentioned I don't need to file taxes due to low income. I'm waiting for social security benefits information for [redacted] but can't access the site as an account was made without my knowledge. It's frustrating to wait so long for [redacted] tax processing. I hope to get this sorted out soon.

I require assistance concerning my May [redacted] federal tax return. I am expecting a refund, but encountered issues with the stimulus payments. Despite initially owing $[redacted] after claiming $[redacted] in stimulus funds, I am now facing an $[redacted] debt after indicating $[redacted] in stimulus money. The IRS advised me to contact TurboTax, who in turn suggested denying receipt of the stimulus to retain my refund. However, this has led to a $[redacted] credit discrepancy. I am unsure how to proceed to rectify this matter. Your help in resolving this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Our LLC underwent a transfer of assets between partners in [redacted], which resulted in one partner closing their interest. I am seeking guidance on how to handle the Schedule K-1 Capital information for issuing K-1s for the year. Should I include the transaction on the K-1? Where should I record the transaction in the Partner's Capital account information (section L)? Is it necessary for the section L Ending Capital to be $0? If so, how should I address this in the K-1? Should the Ending percentage in section J be 0% for all Profit/Loss/Capital categories? - J.C.

Hello, I have been filing my taxes for 40 years with a modest income of around $18,[redacted] due to my disability. I submitted my taxes through TurboTax on February 17th, received my state refund promptly, and initially checked the "Where's my refund" tool without issues. However, on March 8th, I encountered multiple reasons for the delay in processing my federal return. The status changed to indicating my return is still in process and a refund date will be provided later. After following suggestions online to check for any errors and re-entering my information, the website still couldn't provide details. Despite contacting the IRS hotline, the response remains the same - my return is still being processed. I am concerned about potential delays impacting my eligibility for the new stimulus check, given I usually receive my refund within two weeks. Any insights or advice on this unusual delay would be greatly appreciated as this is a first in my 40-year experience of filing taxes. Thank you for listening and for any help you can provide.

On February 17th, I filed my tax return, which was accepted the same day. I checked the "Where's My Refund" tool, which initially showed all the details correctly up until yesterday, March 8th. Suddenly, the status changed to "Your tax return is still being processed" or "Refund date will be provided when available." Yesterday, it prompted me to re-enter my information, but after doing so, it stated they cannot provide any information about my refund. I've been filing taxes for over 30 years, e-filed, and received my state refund already. Can you please assist me in checking the status of my tax return and if there are any issues with the transcripts? Thank you.

Hello, I'm Sal. I have submitted my tax return using TurboTax and am concerned about the delay in processing. I would like the IRS to review the status of my return and check for any potential issues. I believe everything was accurately filed through the program, but I'm worried about the discrepancies in the "where's my refund" updates online. It has been three weeks, and I urgently need this resolved due to financial difficulties affecting my family, including my grandchildren. Could you please expedite this process and ensure there are no missing details holding it up? I have the necessary information handy: Social Security Number, prior year AGI, home address, account holder name, and phone number. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

When attempting to file my taxes for the [redacted] year, my accountant disclosed that they were rejected as they had already been submitted. I did not file my taxes for [redacted], so I am puzzled as to who did so erroneously. I now need to submit an amended tax return for [redacted] but have encountered obstacles in obtaining the Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) from that tax return as well as determining the address of the individual who filed in [redacted]. This has hindered my ability to file both the amended return for [redacted] and my [redacted] taxes. Could anyone suggest alternative methods for obtaining this crucial information? Moreover, I am concerned about preventing a recurrence of this identity theft and fraudulent activity.

We filed our taxes in January and it has been over 21 days since they were accepted. We filed before receiving our stimulus. We were advised to file the stimulus separately, which we have done. However, we have received the stimulus since then but our tax refund has not been deposited yet. Despite filing electronically, it's past the 21-day timeframe. It seems the delay might be due to receiving the stimulus after filing taxes, which included the stimulus amount. Removing the stimulus and issuing the tax refund separately should resolve this. Please assist us with this matter.

When I attempted to file my taxes for the [redacted] tax year, my accountant notified me that they were rejected as they had already been filed by someone else without my consent. I have been struggling to obtain a transcript to gather the necessary information for my tax return as I did not file the original one. This is crucial for me to amend the fraudulent [redacted] return and file my taxes for [redacted], considering it would be my most recent filing. I am uncertain how to proceed to acquire the details from the previous tax return without the address. Your guidance on obtaining this information or filing my taxes without it would be greatly appreciated.

I recently received a 5071C letter from the IRS regarding my tax return. I attempted to verify my identity on the IRS website but encountered issues due to not having a credit card or the other options listed. When I tried to call the number provided on the form, I was unable to connect. I filed my taxes electronically before February 16th, and they were accepted on February 10th and 13th. I already received my state refund, but not the federal refund before receiving the letter.

It has been more than three weeks since I submitted my federal tax return, and I am having trouble reaching the IRS at [redacted] to check its status. Every time I call, a message about high call volume plays and then disconnects me, regardless of the time I try. I want to ensure there are no issues with my return, especially since I usually receive it by now. I received an email confirming its acceptance on 2/12. When I check "Where's My Refund," it only says my return is being processed, without providing a specific date for when I can expect it. Both my colleagues have already received their refunds. There haven't been any changes from last year, and I submitted a short form. This delay seems unusual, and I wonder if it is related to COVID and the late start of processing this year. I am understanding of any possible delays, but I am unable to confirm this.

I need specific information about whether dependents will receive their stimulus check, and if dependents can get it directly rather than through the person claiming them. My grandmother is financially abusive and wrongly claimed me on her taxes, making me miss out on previous stimulus payments. This has left me homeless. I fear she will get the $[redacted] for me in the third payment, and I won't benefit from it. I need to know how I can get my own stimulus to find housing, refill my medications, and cover essential expenses.

I e-filed my federal taxes on 2/16 through TurboTax, which was accepted, but my state return got rejected on 3/8. After re-filing, it was accepted the same day. However, I have yet to receive my direct deposit, causing financial strain as a single mom. I rely on this refund to cover rent and phone bills due to work disruptions from the pandemic. Despite numerous attempts, I couldn't reach the IRS by phone due to high call volumes. Checking "Where's My Refund" still shows "refund is still being processed." My IRS transcript also indicates that my [redacted] tax filing is not yet processed. It has been over 21 days, and I'm concerned about the status of my refund since no mail updates have been received.

My husband and I recently filed our tax returns for [redacted] separately. He owes the government $[redacted], so he didn't receive a tax refund. Will he receive a stimulus check in the mail? We recently moved from [redacted] Ducktown Rd., Sparta, Tennessee, to [redacted] Spencer Highway, Sparta, Tennessee. I submitted a change of address form today. He is currently on a repayment plan for the $[redacted] and I provided his bank account number on the IRS website for the payment plan. Will the stimulus check be deposited there instead?

I e-filed my taxes on 2/13/21, and they are still being processed. We recently received a stimulus payment based on my wife's [redacted] taxes when we were not yet married and didn't have our daughter born on 11/3/[redacted]. The $[redacted] check was only for my wife. As I just turned 19, I was in a situation where I didn't receive a stimulus check last year. Our [redacted] taxes have up-to-date information for me, my wife, our daughter, and her son. I'm unsure if her son's biological father received his stimulus since he claimed him on his [redacted] taxes. However, the divorce decree after the [redacted] taxes state that my wife claims her son every year. We didn't receive stimulus payments for my daughter, me, or her son. I'm wondering how we can obtain those. Thank you.

Last month and this month, I experienced trouble with my IRS payment due to my pay date falling three days after the deadline. Consequently, my payment didn't go through last month, and now I await correspondence from the IRS. Yesterday, I visited the bank to deposit $20, but the machine dispensed $[redacted] from my account. When I returned today to rectify the error, the bank was closed. Concerned about potential overdraft fees, I am looking to contact the IRS to submit a check as a one-time payment or modify the payment date from the 15th to the 20th of the month to avoid this situation in the future. My email is [redacted]

My spouse and I have not received our 2nd or 3rd stimulus payments, only the first. I'm unsure why. In December [redacted], we briefly separated, and I took our children to my mother's house in CA. While there, I mistakenly allowed my mom to claim the kids on her taxes. When I returned home and tried to file, I couldn't claim them. I'm unsure if this affected our stimulus. I've already filed our [redacted] taxes, hoping this resolves the issue. My kids were with me the whole time, and I was at my mom's for only a week in [redacted]. Thank you.
