I was checked into hotel room **** at the Parker New York Hotel July **-**th, along with ** other cast members of The Black Clown at Lincoln Center. I left my room on July **th at **:** am and returned at *:** the same day to discover that all my belongings, outside of the closet, were gone. The housekeeper came into the room as I was coming in and asked if I'd checked out. When I told her no, I don't leave until Monday, her face went white and said, "we swept the room as if you were checked out." The supervisor for that floor showed me a paper and said, "You see here, your number is not on here for check out. This doesn't make any **** sense." Then she called security and told them to get up to my room. The housekeeping manager came, but her only response was that it was just a mistake. She also said when they find personal items in the rooms, they put them in lost and found for ** days, so they are looking for my stuff now. Finally security came and had me make a list of items missing. I have since discovered other items since this list because I didn't need them until just recently. Another security woman came asked me did I give someone have my key. I'm from Kentucky, don't know anyone to give my key to! Then I requested that no one come into my room. I didn't feel safe. They GUARANTEED me that me that NO one would enter my room. I still didn't feel safe so I hid my remaining bag in the luggage nook just in case SOMEONE tried to come and steal that. I did my show that night and as I was leaving the theater, I got a call saying," Good news, we found your bag in the luggage nook in your room." That was the bag I hid because I knew they couldn’t be trusted. So, even though they agreed not to enter my room, they did so again! They admitted to the plice that this was a "mistake". Due to their negligence, I lost many valuables, including my journal, ** contracts with my personal info on them, several scripts, and a list of clothing, jewelry, toiletries. They claimed afterwards that they found my toiletries bag in the garbage chute -- this despite them telling me that they put personal property in the lost and found for ** days! They offered me a gift card which in no way compensates me for what they lost of my belongings. **Here is a list of items the hotel lost, stole, or threw out on me:**. leather sandals $*****. Black Bag $*****(inside bag)***. Underwear $*****. Girdle $******. Sports shirts (*) $*****. Sports leggings $******. Socks $*****. Toiletry Bag $****(inside bag)***. Soap $******. Razors $******. Tooth brush $******. Tooth paste $******. Medication $*******. Make up Bag $******. mac Contour $******. Mac lipstick $******. Mac Blush $******. Mac Eyeliner $******. Mac Eye shadow $******. Mac Foundation $******. Nail Polish $******. Mac Make up remover $******. Head wrap $****In addition, I had numerous food items that were taken from the room as well.
