Good afternoon - **We received a new Powerboard Hoverboard two years ago after a recall from a previous order. Original price paid was $***. My son, who was ** at the time, bought it with his own money. **By the time the new one arrived *seven months after we sent ours back*, my son lost interest. **We kept it in the box until mid January ****. Our younger son had interest. The Powerboard Hoverboard was used maybe * hours in the past * months *at most*. **Last night my husband went to plug it in and it made a loud explosion and started smoking*sizzling. The port turned black and burned my husband's finger. **We immediately took it outside for fear of a fire. I am not sure how well you stand behind this product, but I assure you, the Powerboard Hoverboard in our possession has been used no more than * hours total. We were saving it for our * year old to use. I can send pictures or whatever is needed. **I would greatly appreciate a return of our money for an item that has basically never worked since purchased. Appreciate any help you can offer.**We could not be more disappointed in the overall experience and quality of this product.**Thanks,*Keri McDermott
