I am a ** year old woman, who has eaten Spam most of my life. It has always been a delicious, quick "go to" option for dinner. Well, I recently purchased a can of Original Spam...the can was not dented or damaged in any way, and the vacuum seal was still in tact....The expiration date on the can was ****. When I opened the can, the product was black with mold and there appeared to be, what looked like, a layer of maggots on it. I gagged and vomited, and threw the can in the trash. Needless to say, I was EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED and NO SPAM SANDWICHES for dinner last night. Please investigate this issue and advise your QUALITY CONTROL department of this situation...I am sure, that this is NOT THE ONLY CAN that was affected by the lack of hygiene or lack of inspection in your processing. I have also taken photos of the opened can and the product code on the bottom of the can, if you need that info. Thank you for your attention and concern with this matter.
