Hi, **I have recently moved from Spain to UK with my wife who is a Spanish citizen. I am a Pakistani national with an Article ** EU card. **I have received my National Insurance number and I have began employment. **I visited numerous UK banks to open a bank account to receive my wages however I have been told that regardless of my EU situation and due to my being a Pakistani national I am unable to open a bank account. **This is causing me great difficulty as I am unable to receive any form of income. **They have advised me to contact HMRC to see if you could provide a letter or some kind of confirmation that I have the right to remain in the UK then I will be able to open an account. **Usman Ahmed - DOB **.**.**** **National Insurance: SY******D**Kind Regards**Usman Ahmed
