I have a pending transaction on my debit card statement from a $25.95 charge at Goodwill store #[redacted] that was actually canceled on 7/23/19 at 4:15 pm. These funds are currently unavailable to me for the last 4 days. I am requesting Goodwill to reverse this charge promptly so that the amount can be credited back to my account. I have tried reaching out to the customer care line for the past 2 days, but have had no success in getting through. The store manager directed me back to the customer care line, which has been unhelpful. Despite leaving multiple messages, the issue remains unresolved.

I drove an hour to donate to your Dixon store, but upon arrival, felt unwelcomed by the huddled staff and customers inside. Despite their early closure due to being short-staffed, I requested a quick donation, but was met with unsettling responses and a lack of customer service. It's disappointing to encounter a lack of professionalism when trying to support the store. I will now need to find a different location to donate, hoping for better service.

My spouse and I visited your Ahwatukee store ([redacted]) yesterday during a 50% off Saturday sale (11-02-19). We found an armoire priced at $[redacted], half off from its original price of $[redacted]. We requested to hold the item for a day, and an associate agreed, ensuring we could still acquire it for $[redacted]. A "HOLD" receipt with my details was attached to the armoire. Returning today with my husband (85 years old) and our truck, we asked for assistance loading the armoire. To our surprise, the manager insisted on charging the full price, contrary to the prior agreement. Despite expressing our earlier understanding, the manager refused to honor the sale price. We were disappointed by the manager's attitude and unhelpful response. We are eager to purchase the armoire at the promised price of $[redacted].

Goodwill's reputation as a charitable organization has been called into question. At the Boulder CO store on Baseline and Broadway, concerns have arisen about possible mismanagement of donations. As a low-income individual who depends on thrift shopping for affordable items, the alleged practices at this location are troubling. Reports suggest that donations are being mishandled for profit instead of being used to help those in need as intended. Observations indicate a significant decline in the quality and availability of items in the store. It is essential for this questionable activity to cease immediately to uphold the charitable mission of Goodwill and ensure that donations truly benefit the community.

On a Friday afternoon in February [redacted], I visited the Goodwill store in Hudson, New York, hoping to purchase some items. However, the cashier couldn't provide prices. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, their rude and arrogant attitude upset me. They suggested I return the next day at 10 a.m. to buy the shoes. Disappointingly, the store opened early, and the shoes weren't available as promised. I inquired with a female worker and received more poor treatment. I felt discriminated against and disrespected. I am considering lodging a complaint with labor and anti-racism authorities. I kindly request Goodwill review store recordings to verify the events. I had a negative experience at the store located at [redacted] W County Road B, Roseville MN. The manager, who seemed aggressive and lacked customer service skills, shouted at me for questioning why an employee took a receipt from inside a book I had left at the counter. Despite the employee returning my receipt, no explanation was given. The manager intervened aggressively while I was discussing this with the employee. I felt intimidated by his behavior towards me, a 75-year-old man who was simply seeking clarification. Customer service should include respect and patience, which this manager clearly lacked. I used to work at Goodwill in Selah, Washington, for five months. I've been attempting to obtain my employee record for WorkSource. Unfortunately, all I received from management was a torn piece of paper that lacks Goodwill's name, a manager's signature, or even my name. Hello, my name is Sean T. My wife and I recently had a negative experience at the Goodwill in Keyser, WV. When we were checking out, there was a pricing issue with a blanket that had a yellow tag but no clear price. After some confusion, the cashier printed a green tag for the item instead of adjusting the price according to the color-coding that was in place that day. The cashier reacted rudely when we pointed out the mistake. Upon checking the receipt, we noticed that the items that were supposed to be half off were charged at full price. When my wife addressed this with Catherine, who identified herself as an assistant manager, she was met with more disrespect and foul language. This behavior was unacceptable and contradictory to good customer service practices. As individuals who have worked in customer service ourselves, we were deeply disappointed by the way we were treated.

Subject: Unfortunate Experience at Ripley WV Goodwill Store Today, December 8th, I visited the Goodwill on McGraw Street in Ripley, WV, between 5:30-6:00 p.m. I am a loyal customer who spends a significant amount of time and money at your stores. Recently, I felt targeted by the employees who seem to believe I am stealing items. Despite my innocence, a manager accused me of theft, leading to a distressing confrontation during my most recent visit. I have never stolen anything and feel unjustly treated. I am disappointed in how this situation has been handled and would appreciate a proper resolution. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I am experiencing an issue with them removing Deanne from their corporate team. Supposedly, she asked Gary to leave the store because her employees were favoring him with special deals while other customers were receiving regular bills. This unfair treatment has been ongoing, as recently as today, March 10th, when a customer filled a basket with items for $5. This situation continues at the store on East 14th or Indianola Army Post. Despite others being involved in offering discounts for the past six months, Gary is being blamed for instigating the problem. Many customers are still benefiting from $5 purchases, yet Gary, who seems innocent, was kicked out. Deanne needs to address this issue fairly and acknowledge the ongoing problem of special deals being offered to select customers.

I recently purchased a TV table from Goodwill in Forest, VA on 09/01. It had a sold label with my information and was held for me. When I called on 9/2 to confirm picking it up the next morning, an employee named Christie assured me it was reserved for 2 days. However, upon my grandson's arrival on 9/3, he found the table had been mistakenly sold. The manager explained she wasn’t on duty when it happened and apologized for the error. While we did receive a refund, the disappointment experienced by my granddaughter and the inconvenience for my grandson are deeply upsetting. The situation could have been handled better, given the mix-up and resulting letdown. I am still dissatisfied, as the sale of my reserved item without notice was truly frustrating. - Iris Sharpe

I would like to file a complaint regarding a female manager at the North Dixie Hwy store. I have been a resident of the area for over 40 years and have been a loyal customer since the store opened. Ever since the current Latin woman manager took over, my shopping experience has deteriorated. She has never been welcoming and seems to be suspicious of non-Latin customers. On 9/30/[redacted], I purchased 22 items totaling $98.44. After asking the cashier if I could leave my bags to use the restroom, I overheard positive comments about candles near the checkout. I decided to purchase four candles on my way back. Upon checkout, the manager questioned if I had paid for the candles, which left me feeling insulted and questioning her judgment. I made the necessary purchase and left, refusing to return to the store due to the manager's disrespectful behavior. I urge for this matter to be addressed with the store manager, as the offensive treatment towards customers is unacceptable. From now on, I plan to shop at the Hallandale location where the male manager is friendly, professional, and respectful towards all customers.

On Tuesday, 10/18, I visited the store to browse for clothes. I purchased shirts, three pairs of pants, and a few coffee cups. At the register, one item lacked a price tag. The clerk consulted the manager and decided to charge me $8.99 for the pants. Later, at home, I tried everything on but found that two pairs of pants and one shirt were too small. Today, I returned these items, and there was an issue with the clerk entering the wrong color code on the pants. After a discussion with the manager, she agreed to process the return. I felt unfairly accused when she implied I stole the pants due to the pricing mistake. Even though I shop there weekly, help organize clothes, and have faced challenges as a senior with health issues and tight finances, the manager refused to refund one pair of pants. I left feeling hurt and will not return due to the lack of trust and misunderstanding from the manager.

I recently participated in an online auction at Goodwill. I placed a bid of $78.01 with a proxy bid. Unfortunately, I lost the auction as someone else bid the exact amount. I am frustrated because I noticed the winning bid matched mine. I feel like there might be some unfair practices going on. I reached out to customer service, exchanged emails, and even provided evidence of the situation, but they claim I lost legitimately. I am determined to pursue this matter further and would like to escalate it to the corporate level. If this is indeed a mistake, I want it rectified. I recently experienced a family emergency that took me away from the area, causing me to exceed the 14-day return window for my items purchased on January 15th, [redacted], at the TransCanada location in the northeast. Unfortunately, I am unable to drive and the nearest goodwill is not accessible to me. Due to recent weight changes after experiencing a miscarriage, the clothing I purchased no longer fits. The purchase was made using a Christmas gift card during a late visit when the fitting rooms were already closed. I kindly request an exception for a return despite being 3 days past the policy. I had a distressing experience at a Goodwill store. In December [redacted], I bought a music machine at the Goodwill store on Atlantic Ave. in Long Beach, CA. The item was missing a power adapter, so they reduced the price. When I tried to return it within 7 days, the manager, Marquis, refused, claiming a 7-day return policy for "SOLAC" stores. I couldn't find this policy online. After numerous failed attempts to get help, I finally spoke to Elsie in the main office. She connected me with Carolyn or Julie. When I went back to return the item, Marquis was rude and accused me of deception. Despite the confusion with the price tags, he eventually accepted the return. However, he threatened me, making me feel unsafe. I reached out to corporate but haven't heard back. To my surprise, Marquis is still working there. If the issue isn't resolved locally, I hope for help in addressing this serious matter.

Last year, I visited the Goodwill on Atlantic Boulevard in Canton, Ohio and had a negative experience with a sales associate. I was wearing a rebel flag beanie and was unfairly accused of being racist and asked to leave. Despite the incident, the following day I reported the matter, and the associate involved was subsequently terminated. The prices at this particular store seem unreasonably high for donated items, which is disappointing. Goodwill ought to show more consideration for customers by pricing items more reasonably. This store lacks a welcoming atmosphere and often has staff who are not particularly helpful or pleasant. It would be beneficial if Goodwill addressed these issues for the betterment of all patrons. I began employment at the Goodwill Bellevue, TN site in August [redacted]. I worked for a short period of time, just a couple of weeks. I received my paycheck for the second week, however, the payment for the first week, where I was short 2 days or 16 hours of work, was missing. Although the amount is small, it's still time I dedicated to working at the rate of $13.25 per hour. I have reached out to the store manager, Ken, multiple times, but he just mentioned contacting HR. Subsequently, my attempts to reach him were unsuccessful as he avoids me. While I understand some time has passed, I am eager to receive the wages I earned.

I visited the Goodwill store located on 25th Street and 6th Avenue in NYC today, May 15th, [redacted]. I went in to buy a shirt that was priced at $30, which I found expensive. However, the store did not have fitting rooms available. I approached an assistant manager to request briefly using a fitting room as I felt uncomfortable changing in front of others, but she replied rudely, stating I could undress anywhere or choose not to purchase the item. Unfortunately, the main manager, Michael F, did not provide assistance either. I found the staff's behavior to be very impolite, and it seems like they set their own strict rules.

I have tried contacting their customer support three times through their online support page. I placed an order on June 6th and have not received any updates on the order status. They have not responded to any of my emails regarding this matter. I am unaware if the item has been shipped, and I have not been provided with a tracking number. Checking the order status on their website only displays the order itself without any further details. I am struggling to get assistance in getting information about my order.
