On Dec. **, **** it was determined that the furnace heat exchanger is cracked leaking on my furnace purchased in ****. I'm told the part is not available for *-* weeks. the unit is on my *nd floor and leaking through the ceiling. i have tried several times to get a sooner resolution via my home warranty company and Goodman. I am VERY upset that it takes * weeks to get a part and no one at your company cares that my ceiling is wet and could cave in, develop mold, injure myself of one of my * wheelchair bound children who live with me. My question is: Would you want to wait * weeks for a part when water is leaking every time the furnace runs?? Or would you want the company that provides a ** year warranty on your product to replace it ASAP?? My guess is this would not be acceptable for your family, so why should my family be at risk for possibly * weeks?? Signed, dissatisfied customer with a leaking Goodman Furnace. Dameron D.
