The issue in GetHuman-ramakell's own words
Two weeks ago we had a Goodman system installed which was a * ton variable air handler. The heat pump is a ** seer * ton, GSZ******. Instead of installing variable speed air handler they installed a multi speed ASPT**D**. The units worked great together but was not a variable speed we purchased. They removed this unit and install a * ton variable speed APTC**D** last week. This made the system not match. Should system be removed and the correct * ton AVPTC**C** to make units match. The system does not match as you have stated in manuals they must match. Air is blowing too strong and very loud. This is very loud and unpleasant to listen to. The dip switch is set Tap D is set at on ***% on * ton which is speed ****. (On * ton we understand the speed should be****.) Does this system need to be changed again so the systems will match or can dip switches be set so the system will be compatible. We just noticed today that the air handler was a * ton and not a * ton.
GetHuman-ramakell did not yet indicate what Goodman Manufacturing Co. should do to make this right.
