I purchased a brand new G**x from GT Distri. Best Glock I have ever shot out of the box. Very impressive! Now the barrel is showing wear front smiley face and top and bottom wear slide stop. With my Viener caliper, the wear seems to be .*** to .*** the coating is completely gone and the gun is not as accurate as it was new. I have taken it to Glock master amours at GT three have looked at it and suggested I contact you about the wear. They share guns with *** rounds are showing wear, but not being able to hang a fingernail on the barrel. I did not see this problem with my G* Models. I have to give credit to Glock Gen * has many major improvements over older models. I do have some major concerns over this barrel wear and accurately drop on target shooting. I had the range master, owner, and Glock master amour all gang shoot the gun. Everyone agreed it did not measure up to Glock Gen * standards. Two of the three-shot the gun before they could get them in there store, so they know my G**x gun and owner well.*They suggest buy and H&K.... I am like this was a $***.** pistol without the true glow night sights. I have been buying only Glocks for years and find it hard to believe Glock does not know the repair to the problem?**I do not want to change brands to H&K, Springfield, or Walter. All have been suggested as replacements. **I am a loyal Glock owner and shooter for many years. While experiencing this problem and having a GSSF a current cupon that I can not bring myself to purchase right now. Basically I do not think this barrel should have .*** to .*** wear and the new coating wearing off so fast. I could deal with the aesthetics but the acutely has fallen off.* I am just not happy with the world-class Glock G**X vs the wear on the gun.
